Maya Muses - Daily Spiritual Guidance Messages for the Collective

Inspiration to enhance your healing journey & spiritual development

May 2021 Musings... 29th May 2021…I hope you’ve all had a great week! It’s been busy for me with extra magickal workings, rituals and spells for clients over the Supermoon/Lunar Eclipse period. It’s been such a potent time for magick & some swift changes & surprisingly potent outcomes have already manifested! This week, I also met up with my mum and sister and we enjoyed the first Nando’s together since lockdown! And there was a sense of accomplishment for all of us because we’ve all really used the lockdown as an opportunity to sort out things we were procrastinating over and pursued our healing in our own unique ways. It’s great to celebrate with others and to acknowledge our progress and enjoy the progress of those around us. It was a magickal day and I’m sure there’ll be many more magickal days to come this year! Let’s consult the John Bauer Tarot and see what guidance the universe has for us! This is a deck I got at the same time as the Rackham Tarot (both by Lo Scarabeo; and both decks that are based on pre-existing artwork). John Bauer’s illustrations of fairytales and mythology are highly evocative. I even purchased a book of fairytales to study alongside this deck to immerse myself deeper in the world of John Bauer…and wow! What a world! Let’s see what’s on the cards for the next few days… The primary energy and the greatest potential that’s open to us in the coming days is reflected in the image of The World card. In this card, a lady in a blue and white dress, wearing a red cloak, gazes at her reflection in a still lake. Her hands are clasped in an expression of excitement or pleasure – as if she is exclaiming her appreciation and gratitude for what she sees when she looks at herself. The World card symbolises a sense of completion and of feeling whole, fulfilled and authentic. This is the feeling of knowing yourself, owning yourself and appreciating the truth of yourself in a new way. It’s a good time to take stock and appreciate how recent changes and challenges have shaped you. Have a look at yourself to see what you’ve learnt; appreciate your ingenuity and adaptability; reflect on the security you’ve created in your own life. This may be reflected in the work you do, the home you make or the relationships you nurture. But it may also be your inner strength and your attitude. Perhaps recent adversity has left you feeling less fearful and more confident than you were before? If so, it’s time to own it! Look at yourself and appreciate all that you are. You’re ready to take centre-stage in your own life! We can tap into that potential more deeply if we use the opportunities of the second card to open the way to the promises of the first card. In this case, the energy that will serve us best is reflected in The Hanged Person. This card shows a young boy, who looks quite wild and unkempt, gazing up at a long- haired Rapunzel-esque princess, in a tree. His expression is rapt and his hands are locked together over his heart, echoing the passion of the character in The World card. The Hanged Person calls us to change our perspective and recommends us to do so by disconnecting ourselves from the attachments of the ego. Step back and have a look at your life to truly appreciate the masterpiece of your existence. When you notice an area where you think you did well, pause and take it to heart. You did do well! You’re doing fantastically well! And even when you don’t appreciate it in yourself, the universe is cheering you on! The final card represents the potential hindrance to the potent promise of the first two cards. Today this comes in the form of the 4 of Wands. It’s not a negative card, but in this case, it warns us against being hasty and overly- busy. Our biggest obstacle over the next few days is the ego and it’s tendency to rush, keep busy and focus on the next thing. It’s good to have goals and ambitions but it’s not good to never switch off. If you’re an over-thinker or over-worker, try to give yourself a day off this week. You’ll actually be more productive if you take the time to rest! Restore your sense of self to something more aligned with valuing what you are instead of what you do. Appreciate the comfort and security that comes from knowing, loving and accepting yourself, exactly as you are today, and regardless of the past orfuture. I wish you beautiful day and hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend; or enjoy your weekend of rest! And I’ll be back on Wednesday with more musings for you. XX 26th May 2021...I feel like this month’s been a transitional month for a lot of people. In the UK and US, things have been gradually opening up and people have been able to mix with friends and family again. It’s felt a bit like Christmas for me! Seeing people you haven’t seen for a while presents many opportunities to celebrate! And on a subtle level, the shifting energies are opening up great opportunities for those ready to progress on their healing journey! When we arrive at crossroads like this, it’s a good time to look at what we’re carrying, and decide what we want to leave behind to make room for greater alignment in the future. After my Dolphin Medicine intensive, I was guided to set up a special offer for Dolphin Heart Reiki - a beautiful healing vibration that really lends itself for healing bath rituals & combines perfectly with Ethereal Crystals Healing! If you’re interested in learning more, the special offer is available until the 28th here… I’ve been spending extra time working on new artwork and honing my free- hand shading skills…I’m looking forward to seeing what emerges over the coming months. And I’m really excited to get some new photoshoots scheduled for later this year. I can’t devote my time to it just yet as I’m still working on the Mayastar website between other commitments. But the delay’s provided time for me to consider what I want to achieve with my artwork this year. So, I’m reflecting on how I might set up some of those shoots to best capture & express what I’m aiming to capture & express! I have some beautiful creations (headdresses, costumes and corsets) that I want to feature…and I’m planning on using the runes and their attributes to inspire the work - so these works will be magickally inspired! But in the meantime, I’ll keep developing new transmutations of older images to keep the creative wheels turning; and I’ll share them through my social media for those who are interested in how I’m getting along! I was inspired to reach for the Rackham Tarot today. It’s a deck I was surprised to fall in love with because it’s a deck of pre-existing artwork that’s been matched up to traditional tarot meanings. Sometimes, that works well…other times, not so much! But I am a fan of Rackham’s work and this deck connects brilliantly with nature, fairy and earth energies. It’s truly magickal! So, sit down, relax, have a sip of chamomile tea, and let’s reflect on today’s musings together… The Ace of Pentacles is the dominant energy that we can tap into to create magickal and meaningful changes in our lives right now. This energy represents the seed of something new that’s liable to prosper and progress us in some way. The card shows two children hidden under a tree, being offered help of some kind by a benevolent old woman…perhaps a fairy, witch or fairy godmother. It reminds me of my own childhood relationship with a local willow tree. I’d visit my tree every day and had a special ritual of giving him gifts and sharing my food with him. Our relationship with the natural world is coloured by our relationship with ourselves. Is it time to bring a little of your wildness into the mix? New ideas and new projects promise blessings and growth! Put those ideas into action by creating something new or experimenting with a new hobby. The second card offers us the means to unlock the potential of the first card. In this case, it’s one of the cards that my mind wove elaborate stories around! The Sun usually depicts a child on a white horse and it conveys success, prosperity and innocent exuberance. This version of The Sun features a small child looking up in amazement as an older man blows a dandelion – perhaps teaching the child how to make a wish! The presence of the older figure in the card is what’s unusual about it and the fact there’s an older character offering help in the first card reminds us to be open to the wisdom of those around us. Whatever seeds you choose to sow this week, be open to the advice and support of those more experienced around you, because they may be able to teach you the skills that will ensure your success or help you to choose your direction. Finally, the Queen of Cups energy recommends us to keep reading the signs! Open up your intuition because the universe is providing you with signs and symbols that will steer you in the right direction. If you have a bad feeling about something, look at the feeling to see whether its based in reality or whether it’s a warning from your intuition; and do the same if you have a good feeling about something too. It’s a good idea to write down any impressions you receive during meditation or in dreams to see if a pattern emerges. In summary, a new job, a new skill, a new hobby or a new investment of some kind assures our inspiration, success and happiness this week. But be open to guidance from people of experience and wisdom; and listen to your intuition because the universe is talking to you through it! Have a wonderful day and come back Saturday for new musings... 22nd May 2021…Last night I dreamt of the deck that I’d draw from for today’s musings! It’s a deck I don’t reach for very often because it resonates with a very particular type of energy for me and is a deck that I mostly use during ritual, so I think there may be some magickal musings ahead…let’s explore…the Moonchild Tarot! Oooh! Gorgeous. One of my favourite cards in the deck in fact! The Justice card! This is one of the cards that represents some of my neurodivergent strengths to me: the ability to disconnect from my emotions and the outer world, and examine my motivations and reality with dispassionate curiosity. For me, this work is done in silence and solitude and is part of my regular spiritual practice. But however you tap into this energy, you’re tuning into the part of yourself that can observe the workings of your mind without getting caught up in them. This particular depiction of Justice brings to mind the goddess Melusine. She’s often depicted as a mermaid and appears in the Starbucks logo in this form. But she can also be represented as a serpent or dragon. In her mythology, Melusine assumes her dragon form to exact revenge on her jealous and controlling partner, who doesn’t respect her request for solitude during her weekly bathing rituals. He spies on her and reacts in horror to her true serpentine nature. Serpent energy represents magick and wisdom; it’s the power of the risen Kundalini and the fully integrated and self-realised soul. Alignment with a more authentic and justified version of yourself is in the offing just now. But the second card gives us a clue as to what’s required if we want to reap the rewards of promise of the first card. The Hanged Man recommends us to change our angle. Let go of attachments and biases and be open to the guidance of the universe through our intuition. Be attentive to symbols that come up for you during your meditation or ritual work this week because you’re being drawn into a deeper alignment with your authentic self. If you feel drawn to experience the profound energy of Melusine in your life, you might even consider the Melusine Dance of Mystery & Magick Tantric Shamanic Ritual with Divinity Assumption Channelling. Or perhaps connect with this energy in a bathing ritual of your own design, dedicated to the goddess Melusine and focused on seeking clarity and empowerment. The third card represents the opposing energy that may block us from accessing the potential of the first card. In this case, it’s the 3 of Pentacles. Because of its shadowed position, this card warns us to guard against over- working, micro-managing and being too fixed in a routine. This card is about our behaviour more than our habits of thinking so the biggest obstacle to finding the truth of ourselves is the tendency of not making enough time to stop and reflect! Nobody automatically has the time for self-reflection, but some people choose to make time for it by prioritising it over other, less empowering possibilities. Perhaps you’ll decide not to watch the news for 3 days and instead, spend the time in meditation; or, switch your usual music for something dreamy and ambient while you’re at the gym and use the time to reflect on the source of mystery and magick in your own life by contemplating Melusine. If you choose to open yourself to the potent current of the Justice card, you’ll end this week with a greater sense of wholeness than you started it with! I wish you strength, sovereignty and spiritual awakening! Have a wonderful day and come back soon for more musings. 19th May 2021…Things have settled down post-Beltane & I’m feeling refreshed after deep-diving with the that dolphin medicine. This energetic current is still strongly with me though…and I’ve chosen the Sun & Moon Tarot by Vanessa Decort for today because the cups cards in this deck really resonated strongly with me during the healing intensive. Let’s see what guidance the universe has for us today!... The dominant energy is reflected in the 9 of Swords. This is a challenging card and indicates ungroundedness, distraction and anxiety. What’s keeping you up at night right now? Whatever the outward circumstances, it’s your mental response to it that you need to control. When we worry, we’re essentially making up possible futures in our minds. These constructs shouldn’t hold more sway over our beliefs about our reality than our frivolous daydreams do, but sometimes we attach ourselves to our carefully constructed “day-mares”; we invest them with a significance that twists our perception. This is something we are called on to be mindful of at the moment. The second card offers us a solution to this tendency in the form of the Prince of Cups. The Prince of Cups is an exuberant empath! And this card came up a lot for me during the Dolphin Medicine Intensive so I feel we’re being guided to continue to work with those nurturing and playful energies to avoid slipping into spirals of negativity or despair that may be inspired by over-thinking, worrying or catastophising. Look for ways to be kind to yourself and perhaps take a ritual bath with some sea salt and lavender oil to help you relax and ground your energy. Maybe use the quiet time to imagine the energetic signature left in your aura from stress or day-maring being dissolved and cleansed away. If you work with energy healing techniques, a rose quartz crystal grid (Ethereal Crystals Healing), the Crystal Rose Attunement or Dolphin Heart Reiki would all be perfect to align you with the healing, comforting and soothing promise of the Prince of Cups! Further…the Princess of Cups energy recommends taking some time to explore your imagination through meditation, pathworking, shamanic journeying or simple daydreaming. Some daydreaming might be the perfect antidote to day-maring! If you find you’ve become stuck in a cycle of repetitive negative thoughts, consciously focusing on daydreaming about positive, progressive and joyful outcomes may just reset your mind and reinvigorate some of those more helpful neural pathways. Keep it light and not too serious. If you can remind yourself that daydreaming is a game, perhaps you’ll be able to notice when you’re worrying and remind yourself that you can’t take those day-mares too seriously - and maybe they represent an abundance of creative potential that you could tap into in a new way. There are opportunities for a shift in your perspective over the next few days if you’re prepared to look at things in a new way. Be open to the possibilities and see where the universe guides you! I wish you happy, healthy and high-vibe day! And I’ll see you back here again soon for more musings X 15th May 2021…I’m almost at the end of my Dolphin Rainbow Chakra Healing Intensive now. I’ve worked deeply with the Lemurian goddess, Amara throughout this period. Lemurian energies have resonated strongly with me for a long time; they formed some of my earliest experiences with energy attunements & some of my first channelling experiences. Alsso, I worked with Amara to channel the Rainbow Sequence Healing System and Lemurian Indigo Connections. I intend to work with those energies after the Dolphin Rainbow Intensive as part of the integration process. And then, I’ll see where the universe guides me next! I’ve also updated the artwork on all my social media! If you haven’t noticed yet, you may want to check it out…here are some links… Facebook for Mayastar Facebook for ALM - Mystic, Muse & Artist Twitter for Mayastar Twitter for ALM - Mystic, Muse & Artist Tumblr Linkedin Instagram Picsart For a little insight into the current energies at play for the collective, let’s turn to the Numinous Tarot for some support… Wow! Some serious lift occurring over the next few days! Our main consideration is the Wheel of Fortune. Be on your toes. Things are changing and a situation that felt toxic or stagnant is about to shift and shuffle away leaving the space for bountiful blessings, abundance and alignment with your authentic self! There may be new opportunities that arrive hot on the heels of the outgoing limitations but you’ll need to be looking for them, otherwise you may miss out. Look out for signs or symbols repeating in your day to day life, dreams, meditations or creative work as they will point out the path to prosperity and progress for you. The 9 of Vials (traditionally the 9 of Cups) is the card of granted wishes, success and reasons to dance your happy dance! Be open to the possibilities and focus your intentions on what you truly want to manifest for your life in order to recognise the opportunities that come to you with the turning of the wheel. There’s a very real possibility that all of this could turn out far better than you ever imagined! Let the 9 of Cups inspire you to radical hopefulness this week! The Ace of Bells (traditionally the Ace of Swords), represents inspiration. A new idea is floating in the ethers, waiting to make contact with your mind when the conditions are right. Be open to inspired insight into the workings of your mind and in particular, the way you communicate with yourself. Perhaps you suddenly recognise ways you block yourself by talking to yourself in a demoralising way. Are you too critical of yourself? Are you focusing on your limitations rather than your strengths? Do you go out of your way not to judge others, but don’t extend the same compassion to yourself? What we focus on has a tendency to grow. An opportunity to shift the focus on your intentions is on the cards and if you align with the possibilities through the current energetic shifts, there’s a life-changing realisation in the offing to boot! These cards have really vibed with me! I’m going to tap into those higher frequencies with Lakshmi’s Golden Good Fortune Activation and Maha Lakshmi’s Dance of Prosperity Tantric Shamanic Ritual to really capitalise on these high-vibe frequencies! With these cards, there’s a strong feeling of “all good things come to those who wait”; but you need to wait effectively! If you’re impatient or your ego is too engaged, it won’t serve you this week. Be open! Be loving! Be inspired by hope! That way, you’ll be waiting from a position of alignment and the wait will be almost as pleasurable as the completion. I wish you all good fortune and golden opportunities over the coming days! Come back soon for more mystical musings. X 12th May 2021…Getting into my stride after a relaxing weekend. The Dolphin Rainbow Chakra Healing energies have been really inspirational – you may notice it reflected in my artwork if you follow me on Instagram or Facebook! I need to update the gallery page soon so you can follow my journey through the astral realm! As the “Great Unlocking” continues in the UK, I’m planning some magickal intensives as well as personal rituals over the coming months. If you want to stay informed of any special offers or special ritual options, make sure you’re on the Mayastar Mailing List. I only accept mailing list members through email exchange so if you wish to join, please email me and I’ll be happy to add you! Today’s reading is from the Queen Alice Tarot by Dame Darcy. She’s most famous for her Mermaid Tarot – which is a favourite of mine! The Queen Alice Tarot is equally evocative and rich. Sadly, I don’t reach for it very often because it has a high-gloss finish and I really don’t enjoy glossy decks! Let’s explore… The key energy this week is reflected in the 9 of Wands card. This card conveys a feeling of being battle-weary. Have you been butting heads with people lately? Has your frustration or fear found expression in ways that make you feel unempowered or weak? It’s time to assess the reality of the situation because you’re getting carried away! Consider how resourceful you are. You’ve been through difficulties before and you’ve triumphed. When you feel afraid or fragile, bring your attention back to your strengths. If you find yourself around people that espouse their limitations and invest a lot of energy into their problems, it may be time to increase your energetic protection so you don’t inadvertently take on their issues! Dark Moon Mother Protection, Light Sanctuary Activation and Archangel Michael’s Sapphire Flame would all be great energies to strengthen your energetic integrity. But if you’re not currently working with these energies, the Grounding Visualisation exercise will help you increase your natural grounding! The Ace of Wands indicates that there are great opportunities for us in the next few days; but only if we manage the more challenging aspects of the energy at play. There are opportunities for personal growth, creative expression and transformative healing. But you need to be prepared to take your place in the driving seat of your life if you want to tap into this current. You need to stop worrying what other people think! The final card is The Sun and because this is such a positive card, it reminds us that we have the power to choose how we respond to the world around us. If we react to it, we are living unconsciously but if we bring our awareness to each moment and evaluate it dispassionately, fairly and with love, we can find new solutions. Fear, anxiety and feelings tied up with trauma, shame or guilt have a tendency to make us jump at shadows. Fear or worry may have you shielding your face from reality with your hands over your eyes; it’s time to open your eyes and recognise the divine light shining through! In summary, you may feel a little tied up with fear, conflict and low self- esteem right now. But if you can focus on those areas and remind yourself of your strength and skill, success in all areas is assured! Protect yourself from toxic people and negative energies through grounding or energy healing as you may be more sensitive than usual now. I wish you a beautiful day and look forward to seeing you again for more musings X 8th May 2021…I’ve established a new routine in recent months, and it means attunements are set up within 48 hours for students. I wasn’t sure if this would be something that would work long-term but now I’m confident that it will! I do 1 to 3 sessions for setting up attunements each day – and because that’s scheduled work, I prioritise it and work other parts of my day around it. But I still have a lot of flexibility because depending on the number of attunements I have to set up, I can schedule the work for morning, afternoon or evening (or all 3 if someone’s taking a personalised package!). I like being super-organised. Once I’ve established a routine, I don’t have to think about it and that saves me a lot of time! With that little update out of the way, let’s turn to tarot and see what guidance comes through today… I’ve chosen the Book of Shadows “As Above” deck for today’s message. This deck includes a lot of imagery from the Wiccan tradition and adds a valuable layer of new meaning to the traditional cards. The main energy moving and motivating us for the next few days is the 2 of Pentacles; this card speaks of the need to be adaptable and to balance our activities over the coming days. The suit of pentacles tells us that the things we need to juggle effectively are connected with practicalities. Perhaps money, work or studies. Are you too focused on your work at the moment? Have you neglected yourself? Have you been eating properly and tending to your physical needs? Perhaps its time for you to put down your work and go for a walk instead. The cards recommend us to find a better balance because that’s how we’ll optimise the possibilities this week. The second card tells us what we can focus on to enhance our gains if we connect with the energy of the first card. This is an unusual card though. Traditionally, it’s the 3 of Swords (don’t run away! It’s not always scary!). It has a reputation for being the card of heartbreak, sadness or grief. It can reflect trauma and the limiting beliefs and habits that come from unhealed trauma. But in this deck, there’s a greater focus on the intuitive skills that often come to those who have experienced trauma, abuse or loss. This may be in the form of questioning our motivations this week. Do you have a tendency to make yourself too busy for your own good? It’s time to balance your activities and you’ll do this most successfully if you look at the thoughts and feelings that motivate your actions. Look at the skills you’ve learnt in the past to find a new way to approach the task of creating healthy balance in your day. The card that reflects the challenge to successfully managing our activities with adaptability is the 7 of Wands. This card represents Uranus in this deck. Uranus can be an initiating energy; it speaks of doing things differently and learning from difficulty. In its shadow aspect this card can indicate a failure to learn from past mistakes and in the context of this reading, it recommends us to tap into strength we’ve gained through struggle in the past, thereby reinforcing the message of the second card. Answers to an imbalance in your life can be found in your past experiences & the skills you developed to overcome challenges. I think if I had to summarise these energies I’d say, it’s time for you to innovate. You’ve got a lot on your plate right now and doing things the old way won’t cut it! Look back and see what you’ve learned in the past that will serve you now. Appreciate how far you’ve come and how much you’ve grown. You’ve got all the skills you need to handle this – you just need to slow down and adjust. These cards certainly tell it like it is! Keep up the good work and keep shining like the stars you are! Come back soon for more mystical musings. X 5th May 2021…I've been enjoying the empty days I outlined for myself after the Beltane Portal Intensive. Allowing time and space to ground and integrate new energies & magickal experiences is vital to our spiritual growth. If we don't make time for processing the mystical experiences, we can end up gaining experience but not gaining the wisdom of integrating them. On down- time-days, I write and make art. I set up attunements and.perform spells for clients. But I always ensure several hours of the day are scheduled for doing nothing at all! Today I started my Dolphin Medicine Intensive! The playful energy of dolphins puts me in mind of the 6 of Cups - inner-child work and creativity. I will be working with Dolphin Rainbow Chakra Healing System each morning to set me up for the day. This particular energy vibration aligns me with the energy of the Moon, and the rune Inguz. This rune is named after the God Frey (“Ingvi-Frey), brother of the Goddess Freya and connected with nature and fertility. So, all in all, some serious and sumptuous self-care is in order and I’ve allocated my morning rituals to align deeply with these energies. I'm drawing from the Paulina Tarot today. Paulina Cassidy’s artwork is fantastical, delicate and evocative. I absolutely love it and all of her decks are ones I reach for in the summer months. They just have a summery feel for me! Let's see what the cards reveal... The primary influence for the next few days is the energy of The Wheel of Fortune. This card is about change. Change is inevitable and essential for growth, healing and development. But the way we process change determines whether we will find balance by staying centred as the wheel turns, or whether we will get sick and dizzy by jumping about and reacting to every upward-swing and every downward-dive. Things are changing a lot right now and it’s important not to get too caught up in reacting to those changes. Stay centred and grounded. The Strength card provides the opportunity for managing those changes in ways that will optimise our growth and spiritual alignment. Courage and confidence will carry you a long way in managing the ups and downs over the coming days. When you feel flustered, take the time to remind yourself that you don’t need to fear change if you don’t allow external changes to define your inner reality. If you find yourself getting caught up in the confusion, remind yourself of how you’ve managed to face, navigate and process change in the past. You have no reason to doubt yourself now! The potential pitfalls we may face come in the form of the 6 of Swords. This is a card of healing and of transition from a place of turbulence and emotional upset or trauma, into a place of peace, calmness and spiritual awakening. It’s a very positive card but not always an easy process because healing sometimes means facing reality and dealing with it. Avoiding problems is our potential pitfall over the next few days. Your healing journey isn’t an escape from your past – it’s your path to integrating your past with love and compassion. If you’ve had a habit of resisting change, now may be the time to focus on healing. I like this! It resonates strongly with me and the work I have planned over the coming days! I’ll see you back here again soon X Have a beautiful day! 1st May 2021…Welcome to a new month! The 1st of May is the official birthday of Mayastar Academy! And this year marks our 17th birthday. My work through Mayastar is a huge part of my spiritual journey; teaching and passing on empowerments and attunements to others is sacred work and it’s my honour an privilege to be able to share my spiritual gifts with others through my work. You might say I’ve touched a lot of lives and brought a lot of magick to people through Mayastar; but I would say, a lot of lives have touched mine and brought a lot of magick into my life through Mayastar! Thank you everyone! Those who have purchased my courses, spells, empowerments and readings have all contributed to making Mayastar what it is today and I’m overflowing with gratitude. I’ve chosen The Spiral Tarot by Kay Steventon for today’s musings…this is a playing-card sized deck which makes it a handy one for carrying around – and a pleasure to shuffle! The imagery is evocative and quite traditional – but the cards feature a lot of Victorian characters, mixed with more medieval or fantastical portrayals which gives it a real dream-like quality. The Princess of Pentacles is surrounded by daffodils and flowers. She looks up, beyond the golden pentacle in her hand as if speculating about its potential. Her expression is serious but hopeful and gives a feeling of planning and strategizing. There could be a change in your work this week. Have you applied for a new job? Have you started a new profitable hobby? Or, are you thinking about doing that? It is time to put your plans into action. Reflecting on your past successes will help you to find motivation and greater confidence. The Hanged Man indicates some level of reticence that you need to overcome. Blocks to your success in business and financial areas come from past experiences. It’s going to be a challenge for you to get out of your own way on this one! You may need to do some soul-searching and consider your motivation deeply. For example, are you aiming to make more money in order to feel more secure, but blocking yourself because in the past, security has meant letting someone else call the shots? Do you associate success with a negative experience? Do you have limiting beliefs about wealth that may block you from succeeding in your work or business? There’s some kind of inner conflict that’s perpetuating your procrastination! It’s time to deal with it and the final card gives us an idea of how… The 8 of Swords depicts a woman, blindfolded and loosely bound, standing among 8 swords. It gives the impression of limitation and restriction. But the clue to the solution is in the detail. She is so loosely bound, she could easily remove that blindfold, see that those apparent obstacles are not obstacles at all. She may feel hemmed in and trapped, but that reality exists only in her mind. The limitations of her beliefs could keep her blindfolded and blocked. But equally, she could solve this problem, by looking up, like the Princess of Pentacles! The energy of this reading really reminded me of the iconic speech by Charlie Chaplin in “The Great Dictator”. I actually had a video of it on the home page of this website before I redeveloped it! I may have to add it again sometime. But I’ll quote from it here: “Look up! Look up! The clouds are lifting – the sun is breaking through. We are coming out of the darkness into the light. We are coming into a new world. A kind new world where men will rise above their hate and brutality. The soul of man has been given wings – and at last he is beginning to fly. He is flying into the rainbow – into the light of hope – into the future, that glorious future that belongs to you, to me and to all of us. Look up. Look up!” XXX I wish you all a blessed and bountiful week! April 2021 Musings... March 2021 Musings...

It’s not a negative card, but in this case, it warns us against being hasty and overly-busy. If you’re interested in learning more, the special offer is available until the 28th here… I’ve been spending extra time working on new artwork and honing my free-hand shading skills…I’m looking forward to seeing what emerges over the coming months. Because of its shadowed position, this card warns us to guard against over-working, micro-managing and being too fixed in a routine. An opportunity to shift the focus on your intentions is on the cards and if you align with the possibilities through the current energetic shifts, there’s a life- changing realisation in the offing to boot! In summary, you may feel a little tied up with fear, conflict and low self-esteem right now. On down-time- days, I write and make art. I set up attunements and.perform spells for clients. But I always ensure several hours of the day are scheduled for doing nothing at all! Today I started my Dolphin Medicine Intensive! The playful energy of dolphins puts me in mind of the 6 of Cups - inner- child work and creativity. I will be working with Dolphin Rainbow Chakra Healing System each morning to set me up for the day. This particular energy vibration aligns me with the energy of the Moon, and the rune Inguz. This rune is named after the God Frey (“Ingvi- Frey), brother of the Goddess Freya and connected with nature and fertility.
