Maya Muses - Daily Spiritual Guidance Messages for the Collective

Inspiration to enhance your healing journey & spiritual development

August 2021 Musings... 28th August 2021…This week I’ve been very focused on connection with the fairy realms, elementals and working with fairy energies in ritual. Then, I ended the week with Melusine Dance of Mystery & Magick Tantric Shamanic Ritual! Melusine is a dragon goddess, and working with her energy can really boost the flow of Kundalini for me - and I’ll be sustaining this high- energy flow by making Kundalini Reiki my morning spiritual practice over the coming days. I’m feeling fired up this morning after a night of divine communion and exploring dreamscapes on the astral with my familiar spirits. Just what the doctor ordered! I’ve chosen the Anima Mundi Tarot for today’s mystical musings. This is a nature-based deck and I adore everything about it! I have many animal- based decks but none that I reach for as consistently as I reach for the Anima Mundi! It’s one of my soul-decks but it’s even more sacred to me as it was a gift from my sister. So, pull up a seat, let your shoulders drop, relax the muscles in your jaw, take a sip of soothing chamomile tea…and we’ll explore the energetic influences shaping our worlds over the coming days… Oooh! It’s very good news! The dominant energetic influences at play over the next few days are reflected in the 9 of Cups. This card came up on Wednesday too so there’s definitely huge potential for great change and increased happiness in the air! The 9 of Cups is all about deep emotional and spiritual satisfaction. It’s about dreams coming true and having the audacity to make a wish and open yourself to the opportunities the universe presents. No matter how good or bad things currently are, if you can at least remember that change is inevitable and that, therefore, positive change is always a possibility, you can exceed the limitations you accepted in the past. Reflect on your hopes and wishes. Dare to dream! The second card offers us the key to unlocking the potential promise of the first card. Today, this comes in the form of The Fool. The Fool is all about freedom. That includes freedom from limited thinking, freedom from traditions and customs, and most of all, freedom from fear! When this card comes up for me, I can tap into the joyful and progressive vibe through dedicating time to my artwork. I can lose myself in explorations of the astral realm and return to the temporal world revitalised and refreshed. How might you let go of the cares, concerns and compromises of the world to connect with the energy of The Fool? A simple way you might align more deeply with this energy would be to spend a day or two intentionally not judging things or comparing one thing (or one person) to a another. When we’re consciously open to the possibilities rather than tied to our expectations, the universe can manifest greater opportunities for hope, healing and happiness in our lives than we have ever dared to dream of! And finally, the card that alerts us to the potential hindrances that may block our access to the high-frequency possibilities of the first card, is the 5 of Wands. This is a card about butting heads! If you’re invested in your opinions and spend time around others that are invested in their opinions, there could be friction this week! Alternatively, the friction could be internal if you’re conflicted about what you currently want in life or are trying to take on too many things at once. The negative influence of this card loses its power as quickly as you lose your ego though! This week, bring your ego back into a healthy balance and remind yourself that what you think isn’t so important it’s worth losing your peace over; and what others think is none of your business! If people come into your life with negativity, you don’t have to engage on their level. “Holding your peace” can be an empowering act sometimes. I hope these words have inspired you and given you some ideas to enhance your healing journey over the coming days. It’s my wish that the 9 of Cups energy will bring you more of what your soul yearns for and that your life will be filled with blessings and abundance! Have a wonderful weekend and come back soon for more spiritual guidance for the collective on Wednesday! X 25th August 2021…It’s that time again! I’ve chosen The Good Tarot for today’s musings. Let’s find out what guidance the universe has for the collective concerning the current energetic landscape, and what we might do to benefit from the shifting etheric influences over the next few days… The dominant energies at play are reflected in the 3 of Earth (Pentacles). This card is about work, preparation and planning. But the emphasis is on learning from others or collaborating with others to enhance the outcome. An example of this principle in action might be the effort you put into learning a new skill to further your career, or taking on a project with others that will enable you to make your vision a reality in ways you wouldn’t be able to achieve alone. Take your manifesting work to the next level by aligning your activities with your goals and the universe will fill in the blanks! The second card offers us the key to the potential blessings of the first card and today, this comes in the form of the 10 of Earth (Pentacles). This card reminds us of our place in society and our relationship with life. It reminds us that our contribution is valid and essential to the unfolding of the unvierse. But everyone’s contribution to the world is unique, so comparing what you bring to the table to what others bring is pointless! If we all brought the same thing, life wouldn’t be so rich, diverse and exciting! What impression do you intend to make on the world? How does your presence positively impact those around you? Look at the ways you share your gifts with society and reflect on the blessings you bring to the lives of those around you. If you’re a healer, your healing gifts can communicate spiritual love to those around you and all over the world! To feel a sense of your place on the planet, it might be a potent exercise to dedicate one of your spiritual practice sessions to giving healing to the planet and people as a whole. Usui Reiki, Unicorn Love & Light or the Orb of Life would all be excellent modalities to use for this purpose! And finally, the card that reveals the potential challenges to our healing journeys over the coming days is reflected in the 9 of Water (Cups) – and this couldn’t be better because it indicates there are no significant impediments to our potential for progress! This card represents the power of wishes coming true! All that you truly desire is within reach this week, but you’ll achieve it through working with the energies of the first two cards. You can do this by finding your grounding and reflecting on your place in the community. Sharing your gifts with others, and with the world as a whole, will help you to appreciate the importance and sacredness of your role in life. Never forget that, no matter what you may have been through, and no matter what the “unhealed” people you’ve encountered in life might say, in the eyes of the universe, you are perfect, exactly as you are. You have the potential to change and grow in alignment with the universe itself,if you choose. And if you pursue that path, the universe will back you all the way! The 9 of Cups is one of my favourite cards! The sense that magick and miracles are in the offing inspires me – and I hope these beneficent energetic currents will buoy your spirits too! Have a beautiful day! And come back soon for more mystical musings XXX 21st August 2021…Welcome to the Maya Muses website! Or welcome back if you’re already part of the Mayastar collective! Here I post spiritual guidance tarot readings for the collective every Wednesday and Saturday. These readings are designed to help you make the most of the current energetic influences to progress your healing journey and support you in your spiritual growth. I hope you will find inspiration and upliftment here! It’s my wish that you find ways to empower yourself and get the most out of your life. I work on doing exactly that every single day, and through Mayastar & Maya Magickal I work with others seeking to do the same. It’s my pleasure and privilege to be able to assist those pursuing their own healing journey, all around the world! X I have chosen the Joie de Vivre Tarot by Paulina Cassidy for today’s mystical musings. This is the deck I work with most when I’m connecting with fairy energies. And I’m still feeling that strong pull to the magickal and majestic realm of the fey after working with the Fairy Lightworker system all week! This weekend, continuing the theme, the Nature Deva & Fairies attunement course is on special offer! So if you’re feeling a need to connect with the earth-centred energies, awaken the playfulness and frivolity of your “inner fairy”, or work with the “little people” to enhance your magickal gifts, this might be a great option for you! Now, let’s settle in and inquire of the universe…what guidance is there for us today? The dominant energetic influence that we can tap into to enhance our spiritual progress over the next few days is reflected in the 6 of Wands. This card is all about success, victory and acclaim! Is it time to show others how far you’ve come? Is it time to take centre-stage in your life and quietly recognise your achievements as a way to boost your confidence? Life always keeps moving so sometimes we don’t get a chance to stop and reflect on our triumphs. But each time you make it to the top of a mountain, you can improve your chances of making it to the top of the next one by taking the time to pause and celebrate your journey so far. Integrate your experience and you’ll gain wisdom! From where you are now, you can probably see all the other mountains you might want to conquer, but you’ll be in a better position for success if you take the time to really appreciate your current position & consider what you’ve learnt so far. The second card offers us the key to unlocking the potential of the first card, and today this is the 2 of Coins. This card is about adaptability and being able to switch from one task to another smoothly. So when we reflect on past successes, it may be a good idea to focus on how we adapted to change in ways that aligned us with untapped sources of strength and power in the past. Perhaps you developed the habit of writing a to-do list every night before bed to overcome a procrastination challenge you faced each morning; or you learnt to set boundaries in order to prioritise your mental health. Look at the ways you’ve improved your life and take credit for the improvement! You don’t need other peoples’ approval to be happy in life, but you do need your own! And finally, the card that represents the opposition we might face if we choose not to focus on the empowering potency of the Six of Wands, is the Page of Swords. This isn’t an inherently negative card but swords cards are linked to our thought processes and speech so this card suggests our major hindrance could come in the form of negative self-talk or limited beliefs about ourselves and our abilities. If your inner voice is more critical than encouraging, maybe you could invite it to witness your celebration of your successes and intend that the inner-voice might be positively influenced by witnessing your ability to change, grow, adapt, evolve and overcome. If your inner-voice tends to remind you of what you can’t do or seems to emphasise the potential problems, perhaps when it pipes up over the next few days with any negative judgements, derision or defeatism, you might remind “it” that you’re currently in the process of celebrating your current position in order to acknowledge the skills and wisdom you’ve gained through sheer hard-work, personal sacrifice and facing the difficulties of life head-on! Remind your inner voice that things change and you have the power to change too! And remember, you’ve faced many challenges before and you’re still here. Perhaps your inner-voice will lighten up a bit once it realises you’ve got everything in hand. For those who choose to empower themselves by working with these ideas over the coming days, know that I’m hoping, wishing and manifesting all the best for you too! And with that, enjoy the rest of this beautiful day, and I look forward to seeing you back here for more mystical musings soon! 18th August 2021…Had a very productive week so far because I took a pause in the website work to catch up with everything I neglected to do while I was hyper-focused on completing phase one! So now, the house feels more organised, I feel more organised and I spent the day with my sister yesterday so I’m feeling “all loved up” in the way you do after you spend time with people you genuinely vibe with! In my personal spiritual practice I’m working predominantly with fairy energies at the moment – as usual, my current magickal meanderings are captured in my artwork! (Instagram, Tumblr, DeviantArt, Facebook). Fairy energies can be playful and fun, but also earthy, dark and mysterious. The fey are connected to the earth and the four elements that make it up. If you approach them without ego, they can bring powerful healing and enhanced magickal abilities. The Fairy Lightworker Program is a great course for that and it’s currently the Mayastar special offer. And coming up later in the month, the special offers will be in the “fairies and nature” group, so if those energies resonate with you, email me to join the mailing list! For today’s reading, I’ve chosen the Rider Waite Smith deck – but not just any RWS, this is one of Carol Herzer’s illuminations and it’s perfect! I have a lot of decks and there are a handful that I consider my “soul decks”. But the RWS deck is the deck I learnt with so it’s very close to my heart. But the flow of energy through the Starlight Carol Herzer deck really inspires my soul! Let’s explore… The dominant energy that we can tap into over the coming days that holds the greatest potential for spiritual progress and healing comes in the form of the Page of Swords. This card aligns with the Kenaz rune for me; it’s all about seeking the light and following your instincts in order to become more authentically yourself. For me, this card represents moving beyond limiting views and perspectives and doing things in your own unique way in order to be true to your spiritual core. The alternative is to live your life influences by those around you – and to accept their ideas and values as your own. But the Page of Swords reminds us that everyone is unique and what works for the people around you, won’t necessarily work for you. So, take the time to consider what your life would look like if you made all of your decisions completely independently. Have you compromised yourself and spiritually injured yourself by not honouring your sovereign soul? The second card gives us the key to unlocking the potential of the first card. And today, this comes in the form of the Hermit. The Hermit reminds us to seek within! To remove ourselves from society and reflect on what’s true for us. You don’t have to become a hermit/recluse like me to find yourself, you can dip into this state of sacred isolation through meditation or your own spiritual rituals. A powerful meditative exercise might be to write a list of all the things you think you are; detail all those habits, beliefs and identifications you currently hold, and then, continue your list with the habits, beliefs and identifications you held in the past but no longer subscribe to. Then, in meditation, go through this list from the bottom to the top and cross each item off. Realise that your thoughts and beliefs don’t actually define the essence of you. They change over time. And your current habits, thoughts and beliefs don’t represent you in your wholeness any more than your past habits, thoughts and beliefs did. Spend some time in meditation after you’ve completed the exercise, and you’ll feel the potent magick of the Hermit’s way! The final card cautions us against the energetic opportunities that could block us from realising the opportunities of the first card. And today, this is the 10 of Cups. This is a very positive card usually but today it’s reminding us that in order to find deep emotional connections and true happiness, we need to bring our authentic selves into our relationships. So, this card might help you to consider why it’s important to work on yourself and your healing; it’s not a selfish pursuit because the fruits of that healing are shared with those around you. When you choose to pursue your highest ideals through spiritual practice, self-love and healing, you are making the world a better place! Wow! Sometimes the cards surprise me with their wisdom and poetry! I hope you find some inspiration in these words and I’ll see you back here on Saturday for more mystical musings! XXX 14th August 2021…Welcome to this cosy corner of the internet, where I shuffle, cut & interpret the cards to find out how we can harness the current energetic influences to our advantage! Today, I’ve brought the Happy Tarot with me. It’s a Rider-Waite style deck but with joyful, fun & cartoony characters. The darker cards still carry their darker themes but somehow, this deck makes them more approachable. So, let’s explore… I think I must have been drawn to this deck today because I sensed the high-vibe energies and stratospheric possibilities in the air! The next few days carry the promise of jubilation, celebration and success! The card representing the dominant energies at play at the current time is the 3 of Cups. This card is all about doing your happy dance, marking the occasion and enjoying good feelings with your friends and loved ones. This is an opportunity to acknowledge your development, take pleasure in commemorating your progress, & express your gratitude to the universe for the blessings, abundance and prosperity in all areas of your life! Open yourself to the idea that things could go VERY RIGHT any minute now, and you will be tapping into the potency of the promise of the 3 of Cups! The second card offers us the key to the unfolding of the first card and today, this is reflected in The Star. This card represents hope, pure intentions and inspired wishing! We are reminded to connect with our innocence, and allow our imaginations to run wild with the possibilty that something amazing’s out there and on its way to us! Allowing ourselves to suspend judgement and witness the world with a sense of wonder allows the light of The Star to shine through us and add a little magick to everything we see! Even during periods of stress, upset and grief, we can experience moments of divine connection by allowing ourselves to be in awe of the beauty and goodness in the world around us. The Star card recommends us to take the time to look up and exclaim at the majesty and mystery of the endless dance of celestial bodies. Remember that you are made of the same stuff that the stars are made of and are no less amazing, magickal and beautiful than they are! And finally, the card that represents the energies or tendencies that may derail our progress if we let them, comes in the form of the 5 of Cups. This card can represent grief, depression or deep sadness. It can also represent shadow-work and consciously working through our difficult emotions. But in this position, it represents something potentially harmful that we can choose to avoid. This may be a tendency to nihilistic thinking, cynicism or negative self-talk. All in all, we tend to find what we’re looking for in the world, so if you’re looking for limitations, blocks and enemies, you’ll find them! But if you allow the light of The Star to guide your way, you’ll be looking for possibilities, opportunities and friends - and you’ll find them! I’m excited to tap into these frequencies and I’ll definitely spend some time in sacred celebration this weekend! I hope you’ll also find the opportunity to indulge in a “happy dance” or toast to your success in the coming days. And if no obvious cause for celebration presents itself, why not do a happy dance because you at least believed it was possible that a cause for celebration was about to present itself! I wish you all a beautiful weekend and I hope you’ll find hope, healing and happiness everywhere you look! X Come back soon for more mystical musings. XX 11th August 2021…This week finds me still in celebration mode with the completion of “phase one” of the website redevelopment work! So, I had to take a little time to mark the occasion with a ritual - and plan out the next phase of the work. So, I’m feeling very organised and pretty impressed with the fact that despite feeling like progress was very slow, I’m over half-way finished! At this time of year, as the seasons are shifting and we’re heading into the darker part of the year, it’s a good time to look at what you achieved over the preceding months and consider your plans for the next part of your journey. Sometimes, just acknowledging how far you’ve come can be radically motivating and wildly inspiring! And I think that’s the energy, along with Goddess Athena’s Fearlessness & Mary Magdalene’s Inner Temple, that’s reflected in the artwork I’ve shared today (Instagram, Tumblr, DeviantArt & Facebook) – a very “Queen of Swords” inspired piece of artwork with some “Valkyrie” subtext! Very much expressing that sense of accomplishment and power that rises up when you recognise the reality of your growth and start to believe anything is possible! Let’s have a look at the cards and see what guidance they have for the collective right now. I’ve chosen the Dreaming Way Tarot; this is a new deck to my collection and I chose it because I love the style – it reminds me a bit of the Little Prince Tarot by Lo Scarabeo, but is much more traditional and based on the Rider-Waite card meanings. So, pull up your comfortable seat, take a sip of chamomile tea, and let’s explore… The principle energetic influence, with the greatest opportunities for growth and healing in the coming days, is reflected in The Moon. This card tells us to align with our spiritual and emotional side; to tap into our intuition and explore the depths of the unconscious mind. Often, repressed feelings and instincts can take on dark and destructive forms when they’re hidden away in a corner of our psyche. All thoughts carry their own energy and that energy can become negative if we try to neglect them! They can become rebellious teenagers, jumping up and down and throwing tantrums in the back of our minds. The block to the flow of life-force energy through the system can manifest complications in our health, finances & luck. The full moon in this card offers us a gentle light that can reveal the source of energy blocks and stagnation, if we have the courage and self-belief to open our eyes and allow ourselves to feel our way through the shadows. The second card offers us the key to unlocking the potential of the first card; and today, this is reflected in the 8 of Swords. This card emphasises the need to open our eyes to the thoughts and habits that block us. Consider your beliefs and how they may be feeding your fears or reinforcing your limitations. Let the light of the full moon reveal the source of the shadows you’re jumping at because things aren’t as bad as they seem. Tap into your intuition and allow your heart will guide you through the twists, turns and trials as they arise. Perhaps it will take time for you to trust in your own abilities, but keep working at it, because life gets a whole lot less scary when you can trust yourself! Your intuition can be a super-power if you work with it regularly so maintain your meditation and energy healing practices and allow your gifts to unfold. And finally, the third card tells us what to avoid if we want to effectively tap into the potential of this moment to progress our healing journey, and today this is reflected in the 8 of Cups. This card cautions us not to be avoidant when it comes to our emotions and intuition; denying our experiences because we don’t understand them or find it hard to accept them, doesn’t make us wise! Facing our experiences and sitting with the feelings we can’t fathom gives us the opportunity to learn something new and develop the skills that will help us navigate the world in a way that maintains energetic integrity and authenticity. Not facing our experiences and ignoring our emotions can create such a reservoir of anxiety and fear within us that all stimuli in the outside world take on monstrous and terrifying proportions. We can avoid that pitfall if we open ourselves up to the healing potential of the present by being real with ourselves, accepting our feelings & allowing our intuition to guide us. I feel like the cards today really expressed the same power and passion as today’s artwork did! I think I’ll keep it as the wallpaper on my phone to maintain my inspiration over the coming days and you’re welcome to do the same! XXX Enjoy the rest of your week, and I’ll see you back here on Saturday for more mystical musings X 7th August 2021…Hello there my good friends! I hope this latest update finds you in fine fettle & flourishing in all areas of your life! Welcome to my little corner of the internet. Please take a seat, relax and make yourself a soothing cup of chamomile tea, and let’s cut this deck to find out what’s manifesting in the ethers right now. I’ve chosen the Paulina Tarot for today. It’s got a very “fairy” vibe around it and I’ve been reaching for it a lot as I anxiously anticipate the arrival of my Goblin Market Tarot by John Matthews later in the year! Paulina Cassidy is the artist of the Paulina Tarot; she also developed the Joie de Vivre Tarot, which is another deck that I reach for when I’m feeling the presence of the fey! And the artwork I’m sharing today reflects that! You can view the latest transmutation here: Facebook, DeviantArt and Instagram. Let’s explore… The potential energy that we can tap into, to manifest the greatest opportunities for healing, growth and progress on the path to wholeness is expressed in the King of Pentacles. This card speaks of family, inheritance, business success, abundance, financial security & passing on of wisdom. Today, this card emphasises work and learning. If we can apply ourselves to the development of wisdom, through our work, professional connections or studies, we will discover powerful new skills and deeper insights that can assist us in moving on from past struggles and not repeating the mistakes of the past. The second card offers us a key to accessing the empowerment promised in the first card, and today, this comes in the form of the 2 of Wands. This card is about planning and strategizing and often relates to work or business ventures. It echoes the sentiment of the first card but further elucidates our path by reminding us to work smarter not harder! If you are looking for a new job or considering starting a new business or setting up a profitable hobby, take the time to write out your plans and really explore the options because you decide your course of action. The final card tells us what we might want to avoid, or what might be the impediment we face that blocks us from the progress the first card indicates. Today, this card is the 10 of Swords. It warns us to guard against fatalistic and nihilistic thinking! If you tend to be negative, fixated on problems or overly cynical, you’re very likely to block yourself from experiencing positivity, progress & peace. Watch your thoughts and be careful with the words you use when you talk to yourself. Are they your words? Or are you speaking to yourself in the voice of an overly authoritarian parent, a toxic friend or a bullying boss? Often our inner dialogue gets tainted by contact with people whose inner dialogue is centred around control, shame or judgement. Unhealed people can exert a subtle but damaging influence on those around them; often this damage takes the form of them “getting into your head”. If you think that may have happened to you, watch your thoughts very carefully. If you find unempowering thought patterns are over-riding your intention to discover your spiritual self through paths of development, healing, love & wisdom, it may be a good idea to focus on developing your intuition! If you can tune into your inner guidance system, those challenging thoughts will get a lot quieter! A good practice to use would be Quan Yin’s Compassionate Heart Healing, Centre of Stillness or Ocean of Intuition. These modalities work with the loving energies of the Great Mother Goddess, Quan Yin. She can help us to work through difficult emotions and to let go of limited beliefs. She can assist us to rise above illusions and find the sacred truth of our eternal nature. I hope these words have provided you with some ideas about how you might best progress your journey in the coming days. I wish you unending hope, harmony and happiness in all you do! I’ll see you again soon for more mystical musings X 4th August 2021…Here we are in a brand new month & I’m pleased to report the completion of “phase one” of the website redevelopment work has been completed and “phase two” is underway. The final phases won’t be as long-winded as the first part of the work, but they will require the same kind of hyperfocus so I can’t just rush through it! Still a long way to go but the rest of the route looks to be a bit more scenic than the first leg did, so I think I’ll enjoy this part a bit more! Until the new site is finished, you can still purchase from the Archive Menu; the archived courses will be gone forever when the new site goes live! I’ve chosen The Chrysalis Tarot for today’s spiritual guidance reading for the collective. It’s a very non-traditional deck and some of the cards are so different from the classical depictions and meanings that I tend to read this deck far more intuitively than other tarot decks…but sometimes, that opens up new layers of meaning for the cards, so I enjoy the adventure! Let’s check in and see what’s the forecast is for the next few days… Opportunities for growth and spiritual progress come to us in the form of “The Dreamer”; this is the card that’s traditionally called the Knight of Cups. For me, this archetype comes up when it’s time for me to get in touch with the deeply sacred & mystical aspects of the world around me through poetry and through reflection on the symbolic significance of things that might otherwise be considered mundane. This card tells me that there’s magick to be found over the coming days! But to tap into it, you’ll need to be looking for it and keeping an open heart. Let your intuition guide you. The second card offers us a key to unlocking the potential of the first card. Today, we’re called to align with the energy of The Minstrel (traditionally the King of Pentacles). The King of Pentacles carries stability & security within him. He is confident and not easily swayed by the drama! He cautions us to stay grounded and appreciative of family, spiritual connections and the relationships we have to animals and the natural world. His vocation as a minstrel suggests the sharing of wisdom and experience with others. If you have a wise authority figure in your life, they may have some important guidance and encouragement for you right now! Be open to guidance from those you share a spiritual or familial bond. And finally, the card that can reflect the hindrances we may face in the coming days brings very good news! There are no anticipated blocks to the potential of the first card! The sacred, magickal and poetic are open to those that are open to them. And we can further tap into the beauty & majesty of the world through Gaia (The Empress). This is the card of the Earth Mother; the Great Mother Goddess that creates, nourishes & sustains all life. She is the embodiment of all life on earth as well as the planet itself. We are all part of her and remembering our connection to the earth can remind us of our place in the grand scheme of things. Remember you are a child of the earth and you belong here. Exactly as you are and exactly where you are; you are “right” with the world in all the ways that matter! A good idea to experience the potency of the energies currently at play and harness their blessings is to spend time meditating on the natural world. This can help you to help develop a deeper sense of connection. Good energy healing systems to work with to enhance this process are: Magickal Lightwork Programme, Nature Deva & Fairies, & Elen of the Ways. For me, connection with the sacred earth is most deeply felt through connection to the Avalonian Portal so I’ll be working with the Avalonian Alignment, Star of Avalon Ascension Connections & Avalonian Spectral Activations for my daily practice this week. These 3 courses combine to create a comprehensive energy healing practice that includes the use of sacred symbols, mantras & colour flows. These techniques can be used independently but they’re at their most potent when used in combination! And the comprehensive meditation practice of combining those modalities is how I prepare for magickal rituals! I’ve been feeling the call of the fairies for the last week, so the stirring of the nature-based & Avalonian currents really resonates with me. I’ve pre- ordered a new tarot deck from John Matthews: The Goblin Market Tarot! It comes out in October but I’m already very excited about this release and planning some intensive work with the Avalonians and fairies in the Autumn. The Goblin Market Tarot has been developed to express the true nature of the fey folk as depicted in the epic poem (my favourite poem) by Christina Rossetti, which you can read here… I hope you’ll all have a fantastic day! Take what serves or inspires you from these musings, but leave the rest behind when you click away. And please come back soon for more mystical musings X 31st July 2021…Feeling very excited about the opening of the Lammas Portal Magickal Intensive later! Everything is set up and ready for those who will be taking this high-vibe journey with me tonight and I can already feel the energetic shifts playing out from the preparatory work completed over the past few days. Once those rituals are scheduled into the Temple Diary, the familiar spirits I work with begin their dance, and I join them in the Temple at the appointed time to conduct and complete the ceremony. I’m expecting great things! The oracles indicate golden opportunities, transformational healing, and authentic growth for those participating and I’m honoured to be a part of that process. I know we can get some hot weather in August, but Lammas makes me feel the stirrings of the Autumnal current coming through. So, in honour of my favourite time of the year, I’ve chosen the Deviant Moon Tarot for today’s reading. Let’s explore… One of my favourite cards in the deck, The 2 of Cups is the principle energetic influence over the next few days. This card can represent a romantic connection, a soul-mate relationship, or a deeply-healing friendship. It can also indicate some kind of spiritual communion, or participation in therapy, healing or counselling. The 2 of Cups represents completion and wholeness achieved through a spiritually significant connection. But it doesn’t have to be a connection with another person, it can be about integrating different aspects of your personality and finding healing through that process. Self-healing work that’s compassion-focused would be an excellent way to tap into this current. Quan Yin’s Compassionate Heart Healing, Lotus Fountain Healing & the Constellation of Bliss would all be great modalities to work with to access the healing potential of the dominant energetic currents. If energy healing work doesn’t resonate with you, journalling or meditation would also be good techniques to use in providing yourself with healing space this week. The second card offers us a way to tap into the potential and promise of the first card more effectively. And today, this comes in the form of the 7 of Pentacles. This is about knowing when it’s time to take a break. Put practicalities to the back of your mind and forget about work when you’re focused on your healing journey. I don’t mean you should take a sickie and prioritise your healing! I mean, when you’re not working, stop thinking about work! When it’s time to rest, focus on resting well, and don’t let your mind keep circling back to practical matters. You’ll get more from your spiritual and healing practices if you don’t get distracted while you attend to them. And you’ll be more effective in your work if you take the time to attend to your self-care needs. It may be the perfect time to put your phone on silent and give yourself your undivided attention! Lastly, the final card indicates the most likely impediment we might face over the next few days. This tells us what could block us from the powerful healing promised by the 2 of Cups. And, the exceptionally good news is that, there’s no restrictive energy current at play right now! The Empress represents the Goddess Freya for me; and the fact that she’s showing up before tonight’s 3-Day Lammas Portal Intensive tells me that this ritual will capitalise perfectly on the energies currently at play! And, for those who are celebrating Lammas in their own way, if you feel drawn to connect with the Goddess Freya, now might be the perfect opportunity! She is a Goddess of Love & the sacred rituals of home-making, sex & magick. Symbols that you might bring into your practice to honour her are: cats, gold, amber, honey, falcons, flowers, the sun and moon. Your ritual for connecting with Freya doesn’t need to be complicated – you might just spend some time sitting in communion with her and contemplating her symbols to awaken her energy within you so that it can find expression in your life. You may also like to check out my most recent artwork sharing on Instagram, DeviantArt & Facebook because it was inspired by the Golden Goddess herself & the preparations made for the Lammas Portal Intensive! However you choose to celebrate the Lammas Portal, I hope and wish you will gain in wisdom, wealth and wholeness and I wish you all the blessings, bounty and beauty of the season! August 2021 Musings... 28th August 2021…This week I’ve been very focused on connection with the fairy realms, elementals and working with fairy energies in ritual. Then, I ended the week with Melusine Dance of Mystery & Magick Tantric Shamanic Ritual! Melusine is a dragon goddess, and working with her energy can really boost the flow of Kundalini for me - and I’ll be sustaining this high-energy flow by making Kundalini Reiki my morning spiritual practice over the coming days. I’m feeling fired up this morning after a night of divine communion and exploring dreamscapes on the astral with my familiar spirits. Just what the doctor ordered! I’ve chosen the Anima Mundi Tarot for today’s mystical musings. This is a nature- based deck and I adore everything about it! I have many animal-based decks but none that I reach for as consistently as I reach for the Anima Mundi! The full moon in this card offers us a gentle light that can reveal the source of energy blocks and stagnation, if we have the courage and self- belief to open our eyes and allow ourselves to feel our way through the shadows. Your intuition can be a super- power if you work with it regularly so maintain your meditation and energy healing practices and allow your gifts to unfold. I wish you unending hope, harmony and
