Maya Muses - Daily Spiritual Guidance Messages for the Collective

Inspiration to enhance your healing journey & spiritual development

October 2021 Musings... 30th October 2021…Welcome to my mystical, magickal, and majestic corner of the internet! Every Wednesday & Saturday, I use a tarot deck to divine the energetic currents at play in our lives, and interpret the clues to how we might best tap into them in order to progress the spiritual journey. As always, take what resonates with you and leave the rest behind! These readings are for the collective rather than for a specific person so not every word is meant for everyone. It is my hope that these words will encourage, uplift, and inspire you! Today’s cards are drawn from the Light Seer’s Tarot. Let’s explore… The principal energy we can tap into over the coming days for the purpose of enhancing the healing journey, is Strength. The Strength card in this deck has a very “Stevie Nicks” vibe to me and has set Rhiannon playing in my head! (“All your life you've never seen a woman taken by the wind”). Strength isn’t about brute force; it’s about being confident in yourself, and deriving your fortitude from within. It’s about being able to maintain your calm during highly charged or challenging times. And that kind of inner peace comes from consciously pursuing the healing path. The healing path means addressing your problems head on; recognising your triggers & resolving them; allowing yourself to experience difficult feelings in order to assimilate the past. The healing journey isn’t necessarily the easiest path, but it is deeply rewarding. We all have access to Strength, but if we hold beliefs about our limitations and weakness, or we tend to have a fatalistic philosophy where we choose to believe that everything’s “fated” and we are victims of things we cannot control, we may be restricting our growth. Those pursuing the healing path are moving beyond those limitations and exploring brand new routes with brand new destinations. Your Strength takes on new proportions when you consciously exercise your power to choose your destiny. The second card offers us the key to unlocking the potential of the first card, and today this is reflected in the 8 of Swords. This card expresses mental blocks, fears, and belief in our limitations. Often, the thoughts that hold us back come from beliefs about ourselves and the world that we were programmed with in childhood, and which go unexamined and unquestioned in our minds. They can be very hard to uncover and heal from because they’re accepted by the mind as a reality. Changing our reality means being able to accept that a different version of ourselves, and a different way of living, is possible. In the coming days, we can choose to align with our Strength and empower ourselves further by considering our apparent limitations. That might seem counter-intuitive! But, if we try to ignore the things that make us uncomfortable, we deny ourselves the opportunity to grow from them and heal ourselves. Right now, whatever triggers you is providing your with the opportunity to progress your healing journey! Perhaps welcoming the guidance of those difficult emotions will lead you to a new level of Strength this week? And finally, the card that represents the potential pitfalls we might face in connecting with the Strength card this week is the 7 of Swords. This card can be interpreted as the card of the “sacred rebel”, but in it’s shadowy position today, it’s about manipulation, betrayal, and deception. This could be the inner-saboteur, that stops us from starting things because we believe we might fail. It could also be a person around you that’s secretly harbouring selfish or malicious intentions. If someone around you keeps reminding you of your limitations, it may be time to reconsider your connection with them! But if you’re the person who keeps reminding yourself of your limitations, it may be time for you tap into your Strength, and drown out the demoralising diatribe of self-limiting self-talk with a quick blast of Fleetwood Mac, and an endorphin-boosting dance around the living room! Be vigilant against nasty inner dialogue this week. When you allow yourself to talk to yourself unkindly, you make yourself more vulnerable to attracting people into your life who will echo the sentiment. Don’t normalise emotional abuse because you’re emotionally abusing yourself! If you don’t want that, you can change it. But the change starts within. I hope these words have inspired you! I hope you have a beautiful weekend and I’ll see you back here again soon for more mystical musings! 27th October 2021…Now we’re in the final countdown for the Samhain Portal, I’m feeling increasingly festive here at Mayastar HQ! My Samhain celebrations meander their way through several months and I dedicate this time to deep healing work, spiritual stock-taking, and developing my plans (and the rituals that will support those plans) for the next “growth period” that starts for me after the Winter Solstice. Aligning your life with energy of the season can help you to keep your spiritual practice alive by encouraging you to adapt, experiment, and explore your potential in new ways! With the potency of the seasonal energetic tides come opportunities for those that choose to tap into the energy, and today we’ll be exploring some tarot cards for guidance on how we might best harness the current celestial influences for our betterment, healing, and happiness. I’ve chosen the Sun and Moon Tarot for today’s reading… The principal energy we can tap into over the coming days to enhance the spiritual healing journey is reflected in the 4 of Pentacles. This card is subtitled “Power”, and speaks to us of holding our ground, staying centred, and not giving ourselves away. Holding onto your power can be done in different ways. Protecting your energy can be done with energy work modalities (Dark Moon Mother Protection, Light Sanctuary Activation, Goddess Diana Mirror Shield), and regular grounding. But we can also give our power away by sharing our energy with others that may not share our highest ideals. Secrecy is an important part of magickal practice for this reason. So, the cards recommend us to “keep to ourselves” while we consider our future plans right now because external influences, feedback, criticisms, and suggestions of others may not be in alignment with our intentions. The second card offers us inspiration for how we might best tap into the potential of the first card more effectively. Today, this opportunity is reflected in the archetype of The Emperor. This card is about growth, expansion, and taking control of the future through exercising wisdom. The Emperor reminds us to strategize and plan before we start in order to enhance our experience, and achieve our goals. The Samhain Portal offers us the chance to make significant changes and resolutions. But we can make more effective changes if we plan them and plan some of the steps in order to get ourselves started. For example, perhaps you plan to work on processing your past in the coming months, you might decide to use journaling as a tool for this. So you could plan that every single day, whether you feel like it or not, for the next 12 months, you will sit with an open journal an write for 20 minutes. And even if you don’t feel like there’s anything to write about, you will spend that 20 minutes writing about how you don’t feel like writing. You could also consider working with an energy healing modality each day to support that process. For example, Quan Yin’s Compassionate Heart, or Dolphin Heart Reiki. So, your planning stage might include learning a new healing system, buying a decent journal and some pens, and maybe making yourself a cosy writing corner where you’ll keep your journal ready for your sacred work. The Emperor energy can help you to turn your dreams into plans! And finally, the card that represents the shadow energy that could blunt or limit our potential in the coming days is reflected in the Princess of Cups (page of Cups). In this position, this card cautions us against whimsy and daydreaming! Wishful thinking won’t get the job done this time! This time, we need proper plans, self-discipline, and a bit of determination. When you’re considering the future this week, do it with a notepad handy so that you can jot down any ideas or impressions that come to you. Important promptings of spirit and intuition might be missed if you don’t try to pin them down this week! I hope these words have given you some ideas about how you might tap into the magnificent magick of the Samhain Portal! And I hope that you’ll find greater soul-expression, spiritual integration, and empowerment in the coming days. Come back soon for more mystical musings! X 23rd October 2021…There are only 7 days left for the Samhain Portal magickal intensives (linked above). I’m making extra spaces available for the Killing Moon Cycle to accommodate all who wish to participate, but there’s limited availability for the Yggdrasil Intensive because those rituals are longer. As of today, I can only accept 3 more clients for the Yggdrasil Intensive – so if you feel drawn to this runic empowerment ritual, you still have the opportunity as of today! The Yggdrasil Intensive is a comprehensive magickal programme that I’ve worked for special clients (by invitation only) in the past. It includes a 30- minutes energy transmission (sent each day of the 24-day intensive) that the recipient can “call in” like an attunement; but these are runic empowerments and are more powerful than attunements; they exert a healing and balancing effect, but also awaken the runic powers within your energy field. The runes are symbols that reflect different aspects of Universal Life Force Energy (Chi, Ki, Prana, & Odic Energy). They can be used for divination, magick, and healing. And the Yggdrasil Intensive also includes the Run Valdr Attunement, which includes other power symbols that can be used in ritual, meditation, & to enhance your spiritual practice. As a dedicated Priestess of Odin, I’ve worked extensively with the runes for over 30 years. The 24 runes of the Elder Futhark form the “light pillars” of my astral temple, and for me, they have been a robust foundation for my energetic landscape. The astral temple is where I do all of my spells, rituals, and attunements; over the years it’s become increasingly complex, integrated & fortified. But the runic foundation underpins the entire energetic construct. They comprise a complete and comprehensive energetic structure for me to work within, and through this intensive, I’m honoured to be able to pass this potential to other spiritual seekers, healers, & aspiring occultists. You don’t need to be a witch or magician to work with runic powers! This magickal intensive can be focused on healing, personal development, spiritual awakening, or energetic protection too. And with these updates out of the way, let’s turn to the cards and discover what the universe has in store! For today’s meditations I’ve chosen The Crow Tarot… Interesting! The dominant energy we can tap into over the coming days for the purpose of progressing the healing journey is reflected in the Knight of Pentacles. This card came up in the same position this time last week. So this energetic influence runs deep! The Knight of Pentacles is the card of the Healer archetype for me and is tied to the Runic Pillar of Uruz in my temple. For me, this card encourages us to methodically pursue our healing. Whatever modality you use, now is a time for going deep into your healing practice. This energy is also tied to Bear Medicine for me and that’s an excellent energy to work with during Autumn & Spring in particular. During periods of transition, staying grounded is more of a challenge. It’s important to allocate yourself time to rest and recuperate when you’re planning your schedule at the moment. Being productive can be addictive - so it’s important to take time out where you touch base with yourself, and express love and care for yourself that’s not tied to what you can do, but rather, who you are. Whatever your favourite self-care or self-healing practice is, set aside time to work with it this weekend. If you work with Usui Reiki, focusing your sessions on the Root & Sacral Chakras can help you to find your grounding. Or, you could try the Grounding Visualisation exercise here… The second card offers us the key to realising the promises of the first card. Today, this is Strength. Strength isn’t about force, it is about integrity, confidence, and alignment with your highest spiritual principles. When you act in accordance with your intuitive side, things begin to flow naturally. Our healing in the coming days can be amplified by connecting with our spiritual side and allowing our intuition to guide us to the healing practices that will be most beneficial right now. If, like me, you work with LOTS of energy healing modalities, a good way to select the best energy to work with right now is to write a list of the systems you’re attuned to, close your eyes, and then lightly run your finger over the list until you feel an energy sensation in your finger. This could be heat, coolness, or tingling, that indicates that’s the energetic frequency that resonates with you most strongly right now! And finally, the card that indicates the potential challenges we might face in the coming days is the 6 of Pentacles. This is a card about charity, fairness, and equivalence. It reminds us that what goes around, comes around. But in its negative aspect, it can be about over-giving or over-taking, and being motivated by negative or restrictive ideas. This card reminds us that it’s important to attend to our own needs sometimes. It’s selfish not to take time for self-care! In fact, to go out into the world expecting other people to support us because we’re “heroically” denying ourselves is selfish. When you choose to pursue your healing journey, you’re serving humanity as a whole by setting an empowered example. The more you give to yourself, the more you can contribute to the lives of those around you. I hope today’s meanderings have given you some inspiration for the coming days! Have a wonderful weekend, and come back soon for more mystical musings. X 20th October 2021…Welcome to today’s mystical musings! Here, I draw cards on behalf of the collective, to elucidate the current energies at play, and uncover inspiration for harnessing the potential of the moment. If you find something here that speaks to your soul, welcome! I’ve been reflecting on the recent passing of my senior chihuahua, Charlie; the first of my pack. Did you know golden chihuahuas (such as Charlie) were considered spiritual guides that could assist transitioning souls in finding their place in the afterlife? I can vouch for the mystical leanings of the chihuahua after living with them for 13 years! They gravitate to my temple when I’m working; and it’s often clear that they can see the things I can only feel! I’m sure many animals have similar abilities – but I’m biased in favour of the magickal chihuahua! When they’re dreaming I imagine their dreams are of sunbathing, dancing, and running in the deserts of their ancestors. It won’t be too long before I’m ready to adopt a new pack member to keep my little tribe balanced…and while I’m still sad to have had to say goodbye to Charlie, I look forward to meeting a new friend in the coming months! I’ll wait to be guided to the new tribe-member though – no rush! I’ve chosen the Tarot Del Fuego for today because it suits my desert daydreams of spirt-guide chihuahuas! Let’s explore… Oooh…these cards have a very interesting juxtaposition! It feels like it could be a very significant week for many people. Which isn’t surprising because the celestial energies of the Samhain Portal (on the 31st October) are pulling us deeper into ourselves – which is often where the real magick happens! The principle energy we can tap into over the coming days for the purpose of progressing the spiritual journey comes in the form of the Death card. Rather than being a negative card, Death reflects transformation and change. It’s about letting go of the past and being reborn in some regard. A simple way to understand this, and how it ties into the season, is to consider the fact that Samhain is the real “New Year” celebration. It’s when we leave the past behind, take stock of our situation, and make our resolutions for the new chapter. It’s an opportunity to align with yourself consciously, in order to make your soul feel more at home in your life. You might choose to leave behind an old habit – choosing to “kill it off” so to speak, and becoming a new version of yourself going forward. Perhaps you decide that the person you want to be doesn’t eat sweets (candy); you can bid farewell to the sweet-eating version of yourself, and be reborn as a person that doesn’t eat sweets. Or, maybe you decide you’ll quit smoking cigarettes – and in that decision, you “kill off” the identification you have with being “a smoker”, and are reborn as “a non-smoker”. A well-made decision is a magickal decree to the universe; it makes things happen! The presence of the death card reminds you of this powerful opportunity. The second card offers us the key to unlocking the promises of the first card, and today, this comes in the form of the 2 of Cups. This is a very unusual depiction of the 2 of Cups though! It shows two cups buried underground with different flowers blooming above ground, nourished and nurtured by the contents of those cups. And a skull buried with the cups emphasises the opportunity for rebirth, new growth, and healing. The 2 of Cups recommends us take our emotions seriously as we consider future development. Consider the roots of your experiences to identify areas for healing. If you’re feeling energetically vulnerable, you might want to make a sacred ritual out of your meditations by working with the Dark Moon Mother Protection energy healing system – which is currently on a special offer because I feel like I recommend it so often to so many people at this time of the year! It can help you to create an energetic safe-space for deep self- inquiry, shadow-work, and healing. And finally, the card that represents the potential obstacle to growth right now is reflected in the Justice card. In this shadowed aspect, the card reflects the potentially limiting effect of negative karmic influences. Negative karmic bonds can connect you to the past with strong spiritual ties that hinder the flow of energy in the present, and can leave you feeling “scattered” and incomplete. Letting go of the past isn’t always easy, but it’s easier than trying to hold onto everything. Is there something you need to “set down”? If you feel karmic ties to past experiences are blocking you, journaling might help you to identify areas that you need to address. Additionally, you might want to consider the Killing Moon Karmic Reversal 30-Day Ritual Intensive, or regular work with the Starseed Unicorn Karmic Healing System to assist you in accelerating your healing journey through the Samhain Portal. I hope these musings have given you some ideas for how you might work with the current energetic tides, and that you’ll find greater healing, hope, and happiness in the coming days! 16th October 2021…Over the past week or so, my life’s become distinctly cosier! The chill in the air has me choosing soul-food over snacks, and cocoa over tea. At this time of the year, the perfumes I choose to wear (for magickal purposes and pleasure) change too. I’m usually surrounded by a balsamic cloud of oud and rose, or something woody and autumnal. Adding to the cosiness of the season are my puppers! With the recent loss of my second in command, the dogs have been a bit clingy. But I have no complaints! Chihuahuas really like to snuggle up - and this time of year, the extra warmth is a bonus! If I’m sitting quietly, they’re snuggled up beside me! I’ve also set up the pages for the magickal intensives I’ll be running for the Samhain Portal this year! The Killing Moon Karmic Reversal 30-Day Ritual Intensive, and the 24-Day Runic Empowerment Yggdrasil Intensive. For today’s spiritual guidance for the collective, I’ve selected the Numinous Tarot. It’s definitely one of my soul decks! It represents the traditional archetypes of tarot in new ways, and it’s non-binary style really resonates with my spirit! Let’s explore… The principal energy we can choose to tap into over the coming days, for the purpose of spiritual growth & self-realisation, is reflected in the Explorer of Tomes (traditionally, the Knight of Pentacles). For me, this represents the archetype of the healer. This is the sacred aspect of the soul that seeks to create harmony and unity within. The Explorer of Tomes recommends us to focus on nurturing the spirit, soothing the soul, and healing the heart. The healer seeks wholeness and recommends us to pursue our spiritual path with patience and focus. The second card offers us further advice on how we might tap into the promises of the first card. Today, this is reflected in the 3 of Candles (3 of Wands). For me, this card is about focusing intent. Committing your mind, body, and soul to whatever you wish to achieve. This card guides us to find alignment and purpose within. If you’re generally someone that gets swayed by your own thoughts and emotions to the extent that you struggle to make decisions or act, this card reminds you that the power to make things happen is within you. When it comes to manifesting a life that enriches your soul, ensuring that your heart and head are on board with the direction your intuition is guiding you is important. The law of attraction means the universe always responds to the requests you make on an energetic level. Working with energy healing modalities can assist you to do this. Abundance Affinity, Manifestation Guidance, & Archangel Uriel’s Prosperity & Progress Activation, would all be excellent options to enhance your development in the coming days. And finally, the card that represents the potential energetic opposition we may face, is reflected in the 2 of Candles (2 of Wands). The shadow side of this card is indicated by this position, and cautions us to be on our guard against misunderstandings & conflict. And within the context of this reading, the potential blocks to success in the coming days, come from within! Guard against impatience, and over-thinking. We all face those challenges at times, and they can restrict our growth by inspiring us to inaction, and self- doubt as the ego gets tangled up with our goals. Instead, if you find yourself feeling a frantic or desperate edge to your ideas, try to align more deeply with the Explore of Tomes/Healer archetype. Be patient with yourself and spend some extra time in meditation, or engage with your energy healing practice, to bring yourself back into balance. Move slowly and methodically and you’ll make great progress! Thank you for spending some time with me today. I hope you’ll enjoy the rest of your weekend and I’ll see you here again soon for more mystical musings. 13th October 2021…As autumn progresses & Samhain approaches, I’m attending to some of my “annual” rituals. Between now and the Solstice, I like to do a proper inventory of all areas of my life and make all the major decisions about the direction I intend to take over the next year, ready to begin the next cycle. Magickally, Samhain is more “New Year” than the “New Year” is for me! And I find that taking the extra time to really reflect and consider my plans for the next calendar-year helps me make informed decisions and prepare myself for the next chapter of my journey. If you usually derail your New Year’s resolutions on January 1st, now might be a good time for you to start considering whether you wish to make changes to your life. The magick of new beginnings can be real magick, if you take the time to go deep into yourself and listen to your inner guidance! Today, I’ve chosen the Tarot of the Little Prince as the medium through which we’ll elicit our spiritual guidance for the collective. As always, take whatever speaks to you and inspires your soul, and leave the rest behind. And It’s my wish that this reading will find you at the time that’s right for you to receive the message. Let’s explore… The principal energy we can tap into for the purpose of progressing the spiritual journey over the coming days is reflected in The Hierophant. This card is about the passing on of spiritual wisdom and for me this often comes up when I’m entering into a period of completing magickal workings for clients. The Hierophant is usually depicted as a pope-like character, but he is also the Witch Doctor, Counsellor, and Shaman. He represents authority in areas of spirituality and religious/spiritual practice. If you choose to tap into the power of this archetype, you may want to engage with new spiritual practices, or learn something new that will progress your healing journey. The second card offers us the key to unlocking the potential of the first card, and today, this comes in the form of the King of Wands. This is a card I’ve worked with a lot this year because I associate it with the figure of Lilith, the biblical first wife of Adam, and she is one of the deities I’ve worked with most in my personal practice this year. This energy is about independence, confidence, retaining your grounding in any event, and harnessing your passion so that every step you take on the spiritual path becomes a dance! The King of Wands guides us to embrace our sovereignty and realise the power we hold over our future. When there are choices to be made, be decisive. Empower yourself by owning that power! And finally, the card that represents the energetic influences in shadow over the coming days is the 7 of Cups. In its shadow-aspect, this card warns you to guard against misuse of your imagination! In relation to the previous cards, this may indicate that getting tied up with the “what-ifs” and speculations could block you from making the decisive choices that will progress your healing journey and lead to a growth in wisdom. Sometimes, we perceive the world as complicated and confusing simply because our minds are running wild! This week, it’s time to step up to the plate, acknowledge your authority in your own life, and make the decisions that are right for you, right now! I hope these words have inspired you and fortified you with some ideas about how to navigate the next step of your life path. I wish you peace, prosperity, and progress in all you do! And I’ll see you back here soon for more mystical musings X 9th October 2021…It’s been a beautiful week magickally here at Mayastar HQ. I’ve worked with new clients all week on different types of magickal intensive. This time of year draws more people to step back from their lives and consider their direction, and magickal workings can help to support and create opportunities for realising the life of your dreams. So it’s a powerful time for magickal work because the veil between the world is at its most tenuous over the next few months. Spells, rituals, and intensives can also help to clear any hindering energies that are blocking you from achieving your goals! For the past week, I’ve been nursing a rather poorly chihuahua, who sadly had to be put to sleep after 15 and a half years of joyful living, on Thursday. Charlie was the eldest of my pack, but he was also the joker of the pack! He’s still had his puppy spirit right up to the end and he’s already being deeply missed. Mealtimes seem a lot quieter without his contagious enthusiasm for anything edible! Towards the end, he responded best to dolphin energies – which I used to smooth his transition. So this weekend’s special offer is for the Dolphin Rainbow Chakra Healing course because that’s the modality I’ve worked with predominantly this week. It’s very soothing, magickal, and uplifting. Charlie loved it and I’ll be using it on myself too as I work though the transition with the other pack members (Toffee and Tommy). They were all really close and didn’t leave Charlie’s side for his week of illness. So, as sad as I am to say goodbye to my best friend, I’m feeling so blessed because of the overwhelming love my dogs have expressed over this time. They are truly earth angels! I’m planning a ritual celebration of Charlie’s life this weekend, but a bigger one once I have his ashes. I’m also getting a silver charm bead with his paw print on it, and a stone with some of his ashes in, in pale blue. The first collar I bought him was sky blue; and he loved sunbathing, so I think the light blue option will be most fitting and will remind of all the good times. I expect Charlie to appear in my artwork over the coming weeks…months…years! But the artwork I’m sharing today on my social media (visit www.instagram.com/annalouisemay, www.pinterest.com/alm_mayastar or www.facebook.com/mayastaracademy) is inspired by Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince). It’s one of my favourite books, and I called Charlie my little prince, so I hope you’ll enjoy that piece and think of Charlie when you see it. Today’s spiritual guidance tarot reading for the collective is drawn from The Happy Tarot. These cards depict traditional Rider-Waite scenes but with a sweet, playful style. Exactly what I’m in the mood for this morning because that’s exactly what Charlie would have brought to this morning! So let’s see if we can’t sniff out something juicy - because that’s what Charlie would do! The principle energy we can tap into at the present time, with a view to enhancing the spiritual journey is represented by The Hermit. The Hermit removes himself from the world to experience his inner light in solitude. This card often comes up when it’s time to take a break, or time to dive deeply into your meditation practice. If you find you tend to get your energy entangled with other peoples’ drama, or find it hard to switch off after a hard day’s work, connecting with the potent archetype of the Hermit can help you bring some balance. The second card offers us the key that unlocks the promises of the first card, and today this is comes in the form of The Wheel of Fortune. This is about the shifts and changes that are constant in life. Nothing ever stays the same. Sometimes things change for the better, and sometimes they change for the worse. But the wisdom of The Wheel of Fortune is the recognition that the centre of the wheel is stable! If we can stay centred on the wheel, the shifts and changes don’t sway us too far from ourselves. But learning to achieve that balance can be a challenge! At this time, we’re recommended become still and silent through meditation in order to find our centre. And finally, the card that represents the potential pitfalls we may face on the spiritual journey at the moment is Temperance. This is not a negative card and it speaks of balance, harmony, and healing. But in this shadowy position, it reminds you not to over do it! Ensure you’re taking the time to balance your activities with peaceful pursuits so that you don’t end up getting burnt out. This card comes up for me when it’s time to connect with Yin energy; and my favourite ways to do that are through ritual baths and Yin Yoga – both excellent ways to keep a healthy spiritual practice alive and to maintain your energetic integrity! And with that, thank you for spending some time here in my cosy corner of the internet. I hope you found something worthwhile and inspirational here today. I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day, and I look forward to seeing you back here again soon for more mystical musings XXX 6th October 2021...The changing of the season & the build up to Samhain (my favourite festival!) is truly underway and I’m looking forward to the epic Killing Moon Cycle I’ll be starting on the 31st October. At this time of year, as we move deeper into the darkness, the veil between the worlds becomes more tenuous. You may find yourself dreaming more vividly & your intuition prompting you more often during this sacred time. And you may feel drawn deeper into yourself, and ready to progress your healing journey by letting go of the past, eliminating negative connections, and energetically clearing the way ahead. I’ve chosen the Ceccoli Tarot for today’s mystical musings. Let’s look at the energies currently influencing us, and explore how we might best harness them to progress our healing journeys… The dominant energetic influence over the coming days is reflected in the 7 of Cups. This is the card of daydreaming, envisioning new opportunities, & allowing your imagination to inspire you with new possibilities! Let your imagination fly during your meditations, and create dreams for the future. Consider your current situation and reflect on all the improvements or changes you’d like to see. Indulge in your daydreaming and really get a feel for what life would be like in the new-and-improved-future. Aligning yourself with the feelings that you’d experience when having what you truly desire is an excellent way to work out what you actually want. So, far from being a waste of time, daydreaming can be a creative way to open yourself up to new ideas! The second card offers us the key to making the most of the promises of the first card. And today, this is the Page of Pentacles. The Page reminds you that adaptability and planning are key to making your dreams a reality. So approach your daydreaming meditations with the idea that you can make small changes to start moving towards the future you choose. That could be something as simple as writing your ideas down. Putting your thoughts into words can be a magickal thing! Condensing the ineffable majesty of the castles in the sky you’ve conceived into words brings them a little closer to reality. It also solidifies the idea in your mind and allows you to consider it more objectively. It’s a good idea to keep a notepad and pen with you during your meditations this week. And finally, the card that represents potential pitfalls or hindering factors that may compromise our efforts to tap into the progressive energetic currents available, brings some good news! There aren’t any major energetic impediments to our sacred work this week! The Ace of Pentacles adds another layer of beneficence to the energetic landscape. This card indicates there’s great potential to manifest increases in health, wealth, strength, peace, prosperity, and happiness in the coming days, if you choose to work with the current energies! The presence of the two earth cards emphasises the importance of pinning down your ideas right now. Enjoy your daydreams, but bring the magick home with you by keeping a record of anything that resonates with you so that you can explore it further. Pretty soon, your dreams become plans; and it’s only a matter of time before you’re paving the path to a golden and inspired life! This reading has inspired me to work with the Constellation of Bliss! It’s a beautiful energy to tap into for finding a deeper alignment with your highest spiritual ideals and a great way to enhance your sacred daydreaming practice! Have a beautiful day! And come back soon for more mystical musings XX 2nd October 2021…Welcome to Maya Muses! Here, I crack open a tarot deck every Wednesday and Saturday and share updates on the current energetic landscape, while offering inspiration & ideas for how we might best capitalise on the opportunities the universe provides. Take with you what you resonate with, and leave behind anything you don’t. These readings are for the collective rather than for a specific person, so not every word will be meant for every person. And, whatever the energies at play are, we can always choose whether we want to work with those energies or not. I work with them constantly because it’s my job! But dipping your toes in the water from time to time can help you to tap into your intuition and progress your spiritual journey. So, if you’re looking to add a bit of magick to your life, pull up a seat, relax your shoulders, enjoy a sip of chamomile tea & let’s inquire of the universe to find out what’s coming up next. Today’s cards are drawn from the Sasuraibito Tarot… The dominant energetic influence that we can choose to tap into to enhance the healing journey over the coming days is reflected in the Queen of Wands. I’ve been working a lot with Divine Feminine Energies. In fact, the current special offer for Mayastar is the GoddessIsis Unveiled Radiance Healing Course…and from Monday, the Rosa Mystica Soul Retrieval Activation with Mother Mary will be the Mayastar special offer! So if you’re also feeling drawn to the Divine Feminine, those could be potent options for you! Often when this card comes up for me, I work with the Goddess Melusine or Aradia because it’s very much about harnessing the magickal power of the witch archetype. The witch chooses her destiny and chooses to take the actions that will support her in achieving her goals. This archetype calls us to align with the aspect of ourselves that’s prepared to be fully in the driving-seat of our lives! You can’t access power you don’t believe you have, so the Queen of Wands guides us to consider the central role we play in our lives and to be accountable for our choices so that we can be empowered to make better choices in the future. In this deck, the Queen of Wands bears a tattoo of a lemniscate (infinity symbol) on her wrist. But this particular depiction shows a break in the continuous loop, representing the nature of temporal reality. Things change. Things end. Things die. And the ego rallies us to resist and reject those painful events and difficult emotions. The Queen of Wands reminds us that everyone’s life is hard. No one on the planet is living a life where they won’t experience loss, defeat, pain, and grief. But perhaps, reflecting on the temporal nature of the world around us, can help us to understand those cycles. So here we are, at the beginning of October and the autumnal energies are gathering strength. Trees shed their leaves, and then reabsorb the nutrients through the soil. The tree draws its energy deep inside as the sun retreats, but it uses that quiet time to nourish itself for the next season of growth. Are there things you need to let go of? Are there painful experiences you need to work through so that you can let go of the past and gain a new perspective of? The Queen of Wands reminds you that change provides you with opportunities for growth. The second card offers us the key to accessing the blessings of the first card. Today, this comes in the form of The Fool. Far from foolish, the Fool has experienced the ups and downs of life, and in his wisdom, he chooses to ignore it all and continue his journey without allowing the past the hold him back! He reminds us not to compare our present with the past too much because that way of thinking can block us from the magick of life. The magick of the present moment is the magick that really matters! Finally, the possible impediments to realising the potential of the Queen of Wands energy is reflected in the 10 of Pentacles. This isn’t a negative card, but it can represent an over-abundance of energy in a particular area and as an earth card, it could mean hoarding money, material possessions, or attachment to stability that’s creating a block. It may be time to allow yourself to shed your leaves so you can properly prepare yourself for the next chapter! And with that, it’s time for me to enjoy a day of magickal workings and sending attunements in the temple! So I’m off to work my best mojo for my students and clients, and if you’re one of them, I’ll be “seeing you on the other side” soon! I wish you all a beautiful weekend and I’ll see you back here soon for more mystical musings. X September 2021 Musings... August 2021 Musings... July 2021 Musings... June 2021 Musings... That might seem counter- intuitive! But if you’re the person who keeps reminding yourself of your limitations, it may be time for you tap into your Strength, and drown out the demoralising diatribe of self-limiting self-talk with a quick blast of Fleetwood Mac, and an endorphin- boosting dance around the living room! And I hope that you’ll find greater soul- expression, spiritual integration, and empowerment in the coming days. It includes a 30-minutes energy transmission (sent each day of the 24-day intensive) that the recipient can “call in” like an attunement; but these are runic empowerments and are more powerful than attunements; they exert a healing and balancing effect, but also awaken the runic powers within your energy field. But in its negative aspect, it can be about over-giving or over- taking, and being motivated by negative or restrictive ideas. I’ll wait to be guided to the new tribe- member though – no rush! Perhaps you decide that the person you want to be doesn’t eat sweets (candy); you can bid farewell to the sweet- eating version of yourself, and be reborn as a person that doesn’t eat sweets. It can help you to create an energetic safe- space for deep self-inquiry, shadow-work, and healing. We all face those challenges at times, and they can restrict our growth by inspiring us to inaction, and self-doubt as the ego gets tangled up with our goals. In its shadow- aspect, this card warns you to guard against misuse of your imagination! These cards depict traditional Rider- Waite scenes but with a sweet, playful style. Sometimes things
