Life at Mayastar has settled into a balanced & blessed routine this year. Last year, I did the extra work of redeveloping all of my websites alongside the regular running of Mayastar. The work was ultimately rewarding, but it didn’t leave much time for recreation. So with the start of 2022, I extended my morning meditation practice to help re-acclimatise myself to my regular lifestyle of keeping a rigid routine for my spiritual practice morning and evening, but otherwise, going with the flow & allowing the days to take shape without my constant attention. My morning meditation is a time to connect with solar energy & with my trees. Spending time with trees has been important for me since childhood. My best friend was a willow tree & he was very encouraging of my magickal abilities. I’d spend long periods of time in meditation under my tree, and would connect really deeply with him. Then later, when I was in bed at night, I’d go out of my body to visit him. So my earliest magickal experiments, at 8 years old, were very much tied to my powerful spiritual connection with nature – but especially with trees. So this week, I’ve been working with Celtic Reiki to intensify my connection with the trees in my garden. Hawthorn, blackthorn, oak, hazel and birch currently keep me company & enhance my morning ritual with their deep, dark & ancient magick. In other news, the first Luring Moon Field of Abundance Alignment 30-Day Ritual Intensive that’s scheduled to align with the full moon is taking place now! I’m really excited as this cycle marks the start of regularly scheduled full moon workings of this magickal intensive.
