March 2023 Musings... 27th March 2023…Welcome back to my cosy corner of the internet. I’m Mayastar, and here, I select a tarot deck each week from my extensive collection to elucidate the ethers, and scry the shifting celestial tides on behalf of the collective. This deck features the traditional symbolism with a twist: all of the characters featured are crows! It creates some interesting new interpretations of the tarot archetypes. I’ve been working more with Norse energies in recent weeks with magickal intensives for clients connecting with Odin, Freya, Heimdall and the Runes – and this deck resonates beautifully with my Temple work when I’m deep into those energies. I’m sure these cards will be a powerful translator of the numinous for us today. In many respects, The Fool is the wisest of all! He pursues his destiny without expectation. He isn’t held back by the past & he isn’t restricted by his beliefs. He’s open to the possibilities & approaches life with curiosity & a light heart. The presence of The Fool in this position recommends us to align with that same philosophy. Try to let go of worries & expectations this week in order to be in the perfect position to explore new opportunities. And don’t feel guilty about enjoying yourself – sometimes it’s the most productive route. The second card identifies the potential opposition we may face in pursuit of the promises of the first card. The Hierophant can also be a person – someone who imparts wisdom & provides teaching, encouragement or guidance.
