About Maya (Mayastar - Maya Magickal)

About me I’m Anna Louise May, also known as “Maya”, and I’m a Professional Witch, Founder of Mayastar Academy of Natural Healing & Spiritual Development, Maya Magickal Spells, Neurodivergent Artist, Pre-Raphaelite and New Age Music creator from the UK. In 2004, I founded Mayastar Academy after a period of intensively exploring energy healing modalities, and practicing as a healer for a short time. I felt called to share these life-enhancing and effective healing techniques with seekers around the world so I started providing distance-learning Reiki courses online, with no idea what Mayastar would become! As my reputation grew, so did the demand for more specific and specialised attunements. I was able to share the channelled attunements and empowerments I received during my own healing journey with others who wished to pursue their own path to wholeness. It's a privilege to be able bring empowerment to spiritual seekers by harnessing my natural gifts as well as those skills, knowledge and wisdom I gained through sheer hard work, dedication to magickal and healing arts and gritty determination! I see my students as an army of lightworkers; a group of unique and individual people, united by the spiritual call to improve themselves and the world by healing and growing continually. It's my students that put the "star" into "Mayastar"! They light up the world like a great constellation of love, hugging the globe with healing intentions. As the Mayastar Collective has grown, so has the light-force of Mayastar as an energetic egregore, creating a beacon for seekers who would benefit from my guidance, that shines out on the ether from the Great Temple where I carry out my spiritual services. It's a beautiful thing to be blessed with a life that's so deeply meaningful to me and which nourishes and prospers my soul. It's exquisite to be blessed with a life that allows me to share that spiritual nourishment with others. After teaching for a few years, I started Maya Magickal and began to provide assistance to customers with my spells and rituals. My magickal and occult studies have crossed paradigms and procedures; meandered and cycled over my many years of pursuing The Great Work. I combine my passions and prudence to create powerful magick for myself regularly, and now I offer the benefit of my talent to support and enrich the lives of others. Combining dance, art, poetry, runes, tarot and my experience as a practicing High Priestess, my craft has evolved into my own distinctive and potent style. I provide spell- casting services, healing intensives, karmic reversal rituals and empowerments through Maya Magickal, combining Witchcraft, Seidr, Galdr, Tantra, Voodoo, Thelema, Shamanism and Kaos Magick in exclusive ceremonies tailored to answer the particular needs of my clients. The Killing Moon Karmic Reversal 30-Day Ritual Intensive is the deeply healing spiritual cleanse I’m most known for. It's second to none in its sphere of influence and integrity. 15 years of performing this rite daily for hundreds of customers have rendered it all the more powerful! For spiritual healing, clearing negative energy, banishing malignant entities, supporting your healing journey or preparing yourself for a “new start”, it works to repattern the soul-level influences at play; it clears out the old, restrictive and stagnant; it creates space and multiplies the potential for manifesting all that is good, great, brilliant and beautiful. The Killing Moon clears the path to a new dawn and using my magickal skills to open the way to greater opportunity for my customers is a sacred part of my role as a High Priestess. My lifestyle and devotion to my spiritual and magickal ordinances mean I live very much as a hermit or modern mystic. I live most of my life in The Temple and the solitude combined with sincere and disciplined practice has allowed me to explore the mysteries deeply. I found inspiration on the astral plane and through working with divine forces and ancient light-beings I brought these energetic emanations from the eternal realm to the temporal world through my artwork. When I create a new “Transmutation”, it emerges from between the dreams that are the bricks that form The Great Temple. As such, my artwork creations are a valuable magickal method for me to cement those bricks and integrate the energies that I harness there. It helps to maintain the stability of the energetic construct and allows me explore the bountiful frequencies by combining them in new interpretations of the various vibrations. The kaleidoscopic expressions of energy provide me with endless inspiration! It was in 2011 that I set up this personal blog as a space to share that sacred artwork as well as personal and work related updates, articles and musings. And now, in 2021, ten years after its inception, the site has be redeveloped and updated; my art- style has evolved and become an essential part of my spiritual practice. Maya Muses is the space where I get to express myself on my own terms and in my own way, among friends! So, friend, let me welcome to my musings!
