April 2024 Musings... 29th April 2024…Welcome back to my cosy corner of the internet. And here, I select a tarot deck each week from my extensive collection to elucidate the ethers, and scry the shifting celestial tides on behalf of the collective. This deck is based on the Thoth deck and includes dreamy scenes, lots of dolphins and magickal symbols. There’s a lot to draw from in every card and it’s a wonderful deck to use for meditating on the archetypes because it diverges a great deal from the traditional tarot, while still expressing the traditional themes of each card. I’m sure it will be a powerful translator of the numinous for us today. This card reminds us of the power we have over our lives through the potency of our words. Our communication with ourselves & others is a magickal process. We translate our feelings & ideas into language in order to share them. When we share lies, we’re effectively performing black magick. And when we try to deceive ourselves in our thoughts, we’re performing black magick on ourselves. I’m sure it will be a powerful translator of the numinous for us! This card expresses the spiritual gift of intuition; it reminds you to open your heart to receive the guidance & spiritual encouragement of the Universe this week. There are important messages in the ethers, but to receive them, you need to create enough space & silence to tune in. Spend extra time in meditation this week.
