Hello beautiful souls! This week, I’ve been reflecting on the transformative power of energy healing, and how it intertwines with the path of spiritual awakening. As many of you know, this journey is not a linear one! It ebbs and flows as we move through different cycles in our lives, often going over old ground from a new perspective; facing challenges and blessings, with wisdom and wonder; but always gradually moving closer to our authentic selves.

Surrender & Going with the Flow

in Energy Healing…

Energy healing can be likened to a dance between intention and surrender: we step into this space with the intention to heal, to grow and to release what no longer serves us. But the real magick often happens when we surrender, and release our preconceptions of what healing looks like. When we let go of rigid expectations and allow the Universe to work with us and through us, we often experience greater shifts and deeper healing.

What Does Healing Look Like?…

Over the years, I’ve worked with countless students through Mayastar Academy, teaching them to connect with energy modalities that resonate with their unique frequency. Time and time again, I hear inspiring stories of profound breakthroughs, personal transformation, or the way these practices have provided support during difficult times. Sometimes our progress is measured by external changes, but more often it’s about the shifts internally and the changes to our view of ourselves, the world and those around us. Everyone’s journey is unique and perfect for them, but it rarely unfolds the way we expect! The Universe often has bigger plans for us than we have for ourselves.

Over time, I’ve come to appreciate that healing isn't just about fixing yourself! It's not only about identifying problems and overcoming them - although those things often happen. Energy healing is about healing our energetic expression more than anything else. We work on the energy body, and the energy body is the vehicle for the expression of the soul. The soul is perfectly complete and whole already, and with energy work, we seek to bring our own unique energy into alignment with that soul energy. So that rather than experiencing blocks or limitations within the energy field that restrict the way our highest spiritual aspects are expressed, we are able to live and operate from a higher perspective. Likewise, when you're focused on your spiritual awakening journey, you're not seeking a destination that will mark the end of that journey. Awakening is a process of alignment too! You're shifting your focus from worldly to heavenly consciousness; changing your perspective and discovering ways to express your inner divine light. The healing journey, and the spiritual awakening path are essentially the same route, viewed through a different filter. If you're pursuing a healing journey, you will also experience awakening as you gain wisdom and understanding; and if you're pursuing your spiritual awakening, you will also find healing because the only way to ascend to higher levels of consciousness, is to heal! I'm not sure these thoughts were really leading to a conclusion, other than that my message to students would be, don't get hung up on the details - go with the flow more - allow the Universe to guide you - and make energy healing part of your daily practice.
