Welcome back to the blog! I hope your week’s been as magickal as mine! This time of year feels like Christmas to me and the Mayastar Temple has been a hive of activity as I prepare for the New Year. No, I haven’t lost my marbles! Samhain is traditionally the Celtic New Year and is an important observation in my own personal rituals. If you’ve been staying tuned to this blog, you’ll notice that I’ve made a lot of changes and a lot of decisions over the last couple of months and that’s because this point in the year is the point at which I take stock and reflect on all areas of my life. It’s a period of course-correcting and optimising things. So, between my birthday in September and Samhain at the end of October, I’m extra busy in my personal life. I’m making plans and choosing my priorities for the coming year. I tend to make more practical changes in January, but Samhain is the perfect time for deep reflection, deciding what you will let go of to create the space for the things you want to manifest in the coming year. So tapping into the seasonal energetic tides can support this kind of work.The Importance of Planning as Part of Your Spiritual & Self-

You can’t plan every aspect of your life, but I think it’s a good idea to have some plans. I definitely work best when I’m working towards something. The world often seems to be full of loud voices working against things – putting energy into resistance, criticism and judgement. I’ve never found that kind of motivation very empowering! So I prefer to make mindful choices about what I will do, why I will do it and when I will do it. That way, no matter what goes on in the rest of the world, I know that as much as is possible for any of us, I’m in the driving seat of my life!Using Perfume & Fragrance in Magick, Ritual & Spiritual Practice…
Another observation I make at this time of year is to change my fragrance wardrobe. I wear a lot of perfumes as part of my magickal work. I choose fragrances that I wear for particular rituals and spells for example. I always had a collection of incenses and oils for my magickal practices and rituals but during times when my allergies were playing up, I couldn’t tolerate the incense, so I switched to using perfumes within the ritual space. Certain notes and certain combinations of notes evoke different energies and by working with perfumes and fragrances (both designer and niche), over time, scent has become a powerful part of my ritual, magickal and shamanic practice!The Magickal & Spiritual Properties & Uses of Oud (aka Oudh or
Agarwood)
At this time of year, I favour rose and oud. I wear rose at other times but oud is very much an autumn-winter note for me. Oud is also called “agarwood” and has been used in magickal and religious contexts for thousands of years. It’s an unusual and unique note – very resinous and deep; sweet and spicy. It’s actually derived from a tree that is infected with a particular mould, which triggers the tree to produce resin as a defence against that mould. It’s popular in the Middle East and was burned as an incense in Egyptian temples. Magickally it’s credited with the ability to enhance higher states of consciousness and to banish negative energy. It can also be used for prosperity rituals and for grounding. So it’s very versatile! And I’ll be using it for the 11:11 Portal Ritual this year – the Yggdrasil Intensive. I've had a hectic week in the Temple - the Supermoon rituals and now I'm setting up the Killing Moon Karmic Reversal Intensives that will be running from the 31st - the dark moon coincides with the Samhain Portal this year making it at a doubly potent mix of celestial energies to tap into. At this time of year, reversal, karmic clearing and deep healing rituals are indicated; the energy of the waning solar current, the waning lunar current and the thinning of the veil, amplifies the effects of rituals for banishing negative energy and can allow those cleansing rituals to clear negativity on a greater scale. Here in the UK, Autumn is now well under way and nature is at her most majestic! I love the smell of the leaves and observing the transition during my morning meditations. Sitting in nature and just watching what's going on can be such a healing time - a perfect opportunity for a bit of fresh air, sunlight and reflection. As the folliage falls away I get to see the busy squirrels making their preparations. For them, I think this period of Autumn is like the Black Friday Sale - and they're stocking up on everything they need for the winter.Connecting with the Star People:
Mintakan Starseed Spirituality
This week I've been working with the Mintakan Portal Transmission energy; the Mintakan energy is very gentle, emotional and soothing - the Mintakans emphasise harmony and balance in their philosophy. When I'm connecting with them, their energy is playful and childlike - and it can really inspire light-heartedness and optimism. Intuitively I was drawn to this energy over the 3 days of the Supermoon and I feel the Mintakans (along with the Pleiadians, Arcturians and Sirians) will play a significant role in supporting Starseeds, Indigo Children, Lightworkers, Healers & Seekers through the amplification of ascension energies in the coming months. Each of the Star Tribes has a unique role but they are united with us in our spiritual evolution goals. So we can connect with them for inspiration, guidance and healing in order to consciously align with our highest spiritual aspirations. Simply talking over your hopes and dreams with the Mintakans can bring clarity and help you to bring your emotions and energetic reality back into balance. I intend to continue working with the Wisdom of the Stars series of energies between now and the opening of the Age of Aquarius Ascension Gateway on the 19th November, so for this week I think i will transition to the Arcturian 12D Healing Chamber...or perhaps the Sirian Light Pyramid Activation...I'll meditate on this later today to see where the Universe is guiding me. But it definitely feels like a different kind of energy at play. I think we can also expect more Solar Storms in the coming weeks and months - and it will be interesting to see how these energies interplay with the seasonal shifts and the AAA Gateway. With the intensity of the Plasma Light Energy emissions this year, it's been more important to stay grounded as a lightworker than ever before! These high frequencies, if not fully grounded, can lead to problems with sleep and concentrations, upregulated and changeable emotions, and feelings of anxiety or anticipation. If you find these energies a challenge, you might want to try out the grounding visualisation or perhaps work with an energy healing system that can really help you anchor your energy and maintain your centre. Good options would be Dark Moon Mother Protection, Protection Healing Orb and Light Sanctuary Activation. Plasma Light Energy emissions are at a peak at the moment as we traverse the Modern Solar Maximum - a period when the sun is more active with storms raging on the surface that shoot out enormous plumes of light in all directions. Spiritual Ascension Update: From the Equinox to the Solstice
This time of year things really intensify on an energetic level for everyone spiritually. Here in the UK the weather has shifted after some late summer sunshine in September, and I’m starting to prepare for “spooky season”. My favourite time of year!The Goddess Idun, Wolf Medicine Shamanism & Samhain Rituals…
This Samhain festival will coincide with the dark moon phase and therefore, with the opening of the Killing Moon Cycle - it’s perfect timing and I’ll be working that cycle for myself too! It’s a time for energetic decluttering and clearing, and this week I’ll also be performing a ritual for some of my clients that connects with the Norse Goddess Idun. She’s often perceived as a Goddess of Spring because she’s the deity that hands out the apples of immortality to the gods in Norse mythology so her energy is all about renewal and life; but I like to connect with her around the equinoxes because there are other aspects of her mythology that connect her with Wolf-Spirit energy! In an obscure story about Idun from an old Norse poem called “Hrafnagaldr Oðins” (Odin’s Raven Spell), her descent from Asgard to a lower level of being is explored. She becomes shell-shocked and paralysed; unable to speak and unable to get herself out of her predicament. She is given a wolf- skin (though the story isn’t clear as to who donates this), which she puts on. This shamanic tale sees her adopting the energy of the wolf, becoming wilder, stronger and more ferocious. With these new qualities integrated into her being, she is able to resolve her situation and navigate the lower worlds. It’s a story of empowerment and awakening. But I also find it reflects an important lesson for Lightworkers: STAY GROUNDED! I feel like this vibe is also reflected in this week’s course offer for the Goddess Athena Fearlessness Activation - and even the week-ahead energy reading (scroll down) starts with the 8 of Swords - which can be about fear, limiting beliefs and being stuck; but it ends with a transformation through the Hanged Man, and an assumption of power, courage and strength in the Queen of Wands. Energies…
At this time of year, as the solar current wanes, focusing on clearing negative energy, protecting your energy field and protecting your home are great ways to harness the energetic tides. And if you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know that in spring and autumn I work more with animal energies (Lightworker Animal Empowerments and Animal Medicine Empowerments) - and this year is no exception! I usually work with bear energy but this year, I’m focusing more on wolf energy in my morning energy healing sessions because I’ve been working on that Idun ritual. It’s definitely an energy I like to connect with outside and while observing nature as the seasons change.Long Hair Update…Henna & Haircut…
In other news…this week I cut about 6 inches off my hair! It kind of needed it - I kept sitting on it and I was starting to worry about giving myself a neck injury! Literally no one noticed it got 6 inches shorter because it’s so long. But that’s the first time I’ve even trimmed it in many years! As I write this, it’s also freshly hennaed - and nothing makes me feel more “Pre- Raphaelite” than freshly hennaed hair! Speaking of which…The New Pre-Raphaelite Project Plans: Art & Photography…
There are a lot of photographs from my old photo shoots and Pre-Raphaelite projects that I’ve done edits to and reimagined over the years - some of them can be found on this blog! But at some stage I will sort them out and create some galleries on here with some of the images I liked best, and some of the transmutations that evolved from those original images. I can’t decide how to organise them yet - by shoot, by photographer, by time…I’m still in the planning stage! I will create some new art in the future but I feel like I need to sort out and organise the fruits of the work so far before I take that step. I have some ideas for progressing the New Pre-Raphaelite project so watch this space, because this blog is where I’ll share new art and photos. I’ll add a couple of images from the NPR (New Pre-Raphaelite) project to this blog entry. Yes, that’s something I really need to sort out. I had to replace the blog because the old software I used to build it was so out of date; but I was busy with a lot of things at the time and didn’t have the time to copy across all the old blog pages and all the photos and so on. But now that I feel inspired to progress the project, I feel like I should publish some of those older images again so that this blog will reflect the evolution of the NPR project. I’ve got to get up properly now and start the day - my dogs are getting impatient for breakfast…and I need to do a little bit of work this morning before I flump out for a lazy Sunday! before! These high frequencies, if not
fully grounded, can lead to problems
with sleep and concentrations,
upregulated and changeable
emotions, and feelings of anxiety or
anticipation. If you find these
energies a challenge, you might want
to try out the grounding visualisation
or perhaps work with an energy
healing system that can really help
you anchor your energy and maintain
your centre. Good options would be
Dark Moon Mother Protection,
Protection Healing Orb and Light
Sanctuary Activation.
Plasma Light Energy emissions are at
a peak at the moment as we traverse
the Modern Solar Maximum - a period
when the sun is more active with
storms raging on the surface that
shoot out enormous plumes of light
in all directions. Sometimes they hit
our atmosphere and through the
chemical reactions, appear to us as
the aurorae. This solar maximum and
increased activity will continue for the
rest of the year and into 2025!
Using the daily affirmations as part of

also be a good way to maintain your
energetic balance during this time!

that starts on the 17th - one of my
favourite rituals! Drawing in positive
energy, strengthening good karmic
connections and manifesting good
fortune, healing and abundance has a
knock on effect on my own life and
energy; but I'm doubly blessed by
the transformations the ritual inspires
in the lives on my clients. So I'm
looking forward to the Full Hunter's
Moon!
Spiritual Ascension Update: From
the Equinox to the Solstice
This time of year things really
intensify on an energetic level for
everyone spiritually. The period from
the Autumn Equinox to the Winter
Solstice is traditionally a time of
taking stock, evaluating your
progress and making decisions about
the future. But this year, with the
opening of the Age of Aquarius
Ascension Gateway, more people are
called to progress their spiritual path;
and the Light-Beings that support us
in that process are reaching out!
Finding Your Spirit Guides for
Healing & Spiritual Awakening
One of my Spirit Guides is Pleiadian,
and another is Lemurian; and these
two in particular have been around
me a lot - especially in my dreams
and during channelling work. The
guidance that's come through for
starseeds, lightworkers, healers and
seekers emphasises the process of
releasing the past; smoothing the
transition as the energy of the earth
goes through another ascension
cycle, and allowing us to embrace the
higher energetic frequencies with less
resistance.
This is a time of intensive spiritual
healing for the collective and for the
planet as a whole. But we're not on
our own in this! The Pleiadians,
Lemurians, Arcturians, Sirians,
Ascended Masters, Angels and Spirit
Guides are all
with us and
supporting us
in our
awakening.

It's a good time for strengthening
your connection with your spirit
guides - and there are a number of
ways to do that but the Starseed

techniques to work with to activate
those connections. We all have a
team of supportive light-beings that
offer us encouragement, guidance,

connect with them, they are able to
provide us with much more support.
The universal law of free will means
they cannot intervene if we don't
consciously intend and invite them to
do so; but when we do request their
support and healing, they're always
right there with us. If you haven't

those spiritual relationships!

it’s officially autumn! Here in the UK
the weather has shifted after some
late summer sunshine in September,
and I’m starting to prepare for
“spooky season”. My favourite time of
year!
The Goddess Idun, Wolf Medicine
Shamanism & Samhain Rituals…
This Samhain festival will coincide
with the dark moon phase and
therefore, with the opening of the
Killing Moon Cycle - it’s perfect timing
and I’ll be working that cycle for
myself too! It’s a time for energetic
decluttering and clearing, and this
week I’ll also be performing a ritual
for some of my clients that connects
with the Norse Goddess Idun. She’s
often perceived as a Goddess of
Spring because she’s the deity that
hands out the apples of immortality
to the gods in Norse mythology so
her energy is all about renewal and
life; but I like to connect with her
around the equinoxes because there
are other aspects of her mythology
that connect her with Wolf-Spirit
energy!
In an obscure story about Idun from
an old Norse poem called
“Hrafnagaldr Oðins” (Odin’s Raven
Spell), her descent from Asgard to a
lower level of being is explored. She
becomes shell-shocked and
paralysed; unable to speak and
unable to get herself out of her
predicament. She is given a wolf-skin
(though the story isn’t clear as to
who donates this), which she puts
on. This shamanic tale sees her
adopting the energy of the wolf,
becoming wilder, stronger and more
ferocious. With these new qualities
integrated into her being, she is able
to resolve her situation and navigate
the lower worlds. It’s a story of
empowerment and awakening. But I
also find it reflects an important
lesson for Lightworkers: STAY
GROUNDED!
I feel like this vibe is also reflected in
this week’s course offer for the

Activation - and even the week-ahead
energy reading

starts with the
8 of Swords -
which can be
about fear,
limiting beliefs
and being
stuck; but it
ends with a
transformation
through the Hanged Man, and an
assumption of power, courage and
strength in the Queen of Wands. This
energetic current is very powerful -
it’s the perfect time for overcoming
the limitations of the past!
Energy Healing with Animal
Energies…
At this time of year, as the solar
current wanes, focusing on clearing
negative energy, protecting your
energy field and protecting your
home are great ways to harness the
energetic tides. And if you’ve
followed me for a while, you’ll know
that in spring and autumn I work
more with animal energies
(Lightworker Animal Empowerments
and Animal Medicine Empowerments)
- and this year is no exception! I
usually work with bear energy but
this year, I’m focusing more on wolf
energy in my morning energy healing
sessions because I’ve been working
on that Idun ritual. It’s definitely an
energy I like to connect with outside
and while observing nature as the
seasons change.
Long Hair Update…Henna &
Haircut…
In other news…this week I cut about
6 inches off my hair! It kind of
needed it - I kept sitting on it and I
was starting to worry about giving
myself a neck injury! Literally no one
noticed it got 6 inches shorter
because it’s so long. But that’s the
first time I’ve even trimmed it in
many years! As I write this, it’s also
freshly hennaed - and nothing makes
me feel more “Pre-Raphaelite” than
freshly hennaed hair! Speaking of
which…
The New Pre-Raphaelite Project
Plans: Art & Photography…
There are a lot of photographs from
my old photo shoots and Pre-
Raphaelite projects that I’ve done
edits to and reimagined over the
years - some of them can be found
on this blog! But at some stage I will
sort them out and create some
galleries on here with some of the
images I liked best, and some of the
transmutations that evolved from
those original images. I can’t decide
how to organise them yet - by shoot,
by photographer, by time…I’m still in
the planning stage!
I will create some new art in the
future but I feel like I need to sort
out and organise the fruits of the
work so far before I take that step. I
have some ideas for progressing the
New Pre-Raphaelite project so watch
this space, because this blog is where
I’ll share new art and photos. I’ll add
a couple of images from the NPR
(New Pre-Raphaelite) project to this
blog entry. Yes, that’s something I
really need to sort out. I had to
replace the blog because the old
software I used to build it was so out
of date; but I was busy with a lot of
things at the time and didn’t have the
time to copy across all the old blog
pages and all the photos and so on.
But now that I feel inspired to
progress the project, I feel like I
should publish some of those older
images again so that this blog will
reflect the evolution of the NPR
project.
I’ve got to get up
properly now and start
the day - my dogs are
getting impatient for
breakfast…and I need
to do a little bit of work
this morning before I flump out for a
lazy Sunday!
