29th September 2024…Muses…I’m writing this update immediately after a Temple Work session setting up attunements and completing a personal energy healing transmission for a client. The energies today are intense! This time of year, things really amp up magickally – and they’ll continue to build and intensify as Samhain approaches. I feel the shift when I’m doing daily energy healing practices – but especially when I’m working with energies that align with the seasonal tides. So this time of year, it’s the deep healing, energy cleansing, protection and reversal workings that resonate most powerfully! And with the dark moon almost upon us, and therefore, a new Killing Moon Karmic Reversal Cycle about to start, things are really potent! Having said that, today’s Temple work centred around more shamanic energies – working with different animal medicines for a client, sending attunements for Magickal Shaman and Elemental Pentagram, and working with the Starseed Unicorn Karmic Healing system combined with Avalonian Alignment for my own morning meditation. Feeling grounded and relaxed now and enjoying a cup of chamomile tea! I’m still working on some articles to provide guidance and inspiration around the Age of Aquarius Ascension Gateway – I’m sure the energy of this cosmic alignment and the initiatory effect it has on the energy grids of our planet are further enhancing spiritual practices all around the world right now. If you’ve been feeling a call to deepen into your spiritual practice, you’re not alone! And the 19th November 2024 is the spiritual awakening event that you’re intuitively sensing. At this time, Starseeds, Healers, Indigo Children, Lightworkers and Spiritual Seekers will experience an acceleration in their awakening journey – a period of spiritual evolution that will progress human consciousness fundamentally. If you were “tuned in” during 2012 as the Harmonic Convergence unfolded, I’m sure you remember the exhilaration of the energies around the Solstice Portal! I shared channellings from the Pleiadians at that time and have been working with them and with other star-tribes they’re connected with since that time. The Star People are here to support us during this transformational time and their message is very much that what we do matters! It can be easy to slack off with our healing practices when we get busy with other things, or to feel that perhaps in the grand scheme of things, our miniscule contribution to the collective isn’t important. But the Star People’s guidance indicates that what we do here really matters. Maybe sending Violet Flame Energy or Reiki to the world each day doesn’t suddenly manifest world peace, end all wars and eliminate suffering; but it does something important! Your individual energy contributes to the collective and if your intentions and energy align with peace, healing, prosperity and hope, you increase the potential for the future to align with those intentions. If you are constantly looking outside of yourself to see how those changes will manifest, you may be missing the powerful transformation they’re manifesting within you. 23rd September 2024…Muses…It’s a busy time here at Mayastar! With the recent Supermoon and Solar Storms creating opportunities for powerful magickal workings, and the Equinox Portal at the weekend, I’ve been in the Temple more than I’ve been out of it in recent days! But that’s no bad thing and the energies at play have been transformative. In particular the Equinox Portal 3-Day Magickal Intensive with the Goddess Freya - working on prosperity, healing and happiness for my clients, and connecting more deeply with the Goddess is always a source of celebration. I’ve also been working on some new choreography for the Tantric Shamanic Rituals. These rituals are entirely dance-based and dance has been a part of my ritual, magickal and spiritual practice since my earliest days of witchery! And when I incorporated ballet into my rituals about 20 years ago, dance became a much more significant part of my spiritual practice. Now, I have versions of rituals that I can perform in silence (another important part of my spiritual practice!); ones I can easily adapt for different focuses depending on the needs of the client by changing some of the dances or combining different poetic invocations with those rituals. So the spells and rituals I perform for clients evolve and become refined over the decades and can be tailored for specific situations. This week, the Tantric Shamanic Rituals have centred around the divine feminine with the Lakshmi Dance of Prosperity Ritual, the Goddess Melusine Dance of Mystery & Magick and the Tantric Shamanic Rituals for the Equinox Portal which work with the Goddess Freya. And since I started releasing music last year, I’ve also found my compositions have played more of a role in my spells and rituals for clients. It’s another way I can tailor those rituals for specific clients based on their needs, intentions and goals. Everything within the Temple space is considered - the perfumes, the music, the clothing or jewellery I wear, the invocations and the dances I perform - and all of these elements combine for fine-tuned and unique workings. It’s a process that’s become much more powerful over time! This year some new Tantric Shamanic Rituals were added to the publicly available workings on Maya Magickal too - the Lord Ganesh and Merlin Tantric Shamanic Rituals; and the Brisingamen 6-Day Ritual Intensive with the Goddess Freya. So much of my ritual work for 2024 has been centred around manifesting abundance, success and prosperity. But now we come to the darker part of the year, the energetic landscape is primed for reversal work, clearing negative karma, resolving blocks and addressing deep healing needs. This time of year I also tend to work more with nature-based tarot decks and energy healing systems. In particular I like to connect with Bear energy (Lightworker Animal Empowerments) and Wolf energy at this time of year. It’s a great time of year for bringing your focus back to self-care, grounding and reflection. Watching the leaves change colour and fall, and observing all the changes in nature can be a healing experience in itself! Simply getting out into nature and taking your energy healing practice with you is powerful! In other news…I’ve been making some small updates to the main website recently. Mostly to make it easier to navigate to the most important information on the mobile version of the site. So if you visit Mayastar on your mobile what you may notice is a change to the home page with more information and links within in the text; and a new drop down menu under “Articles & Info”. And stay tuned to this blog for updates over the next couple of months regarding the Age of Aquarius Ascension Gateway - the biggest celestial convergence of this aeon, and one that will support and progress the path of starseeds, lightworkers, healers and seekers over the next 20 years! This will be the biggest shift we’ve experienced since the Harmonic Convergence of 2012, and those of you who have worked with me over the last 20 years will undoubtedly be sensing that there’s some kind of disturbance in the energetic landscape at the moment. You’re not wrong! There really is! But things are about to settle into a groove that will see the acceleration of spiritual awakening individually as well as collectively as the global ascension journey progresses. This upcoming Gateway will see us stepping more fully into the Golden Age of Aquarius, and will be a transformational time for each of us, and for our world. I can’t wait to share it with you! 16th September 2024 Muses… Something is changing on this blog! If you’ve been a long-term reader, you probably remember the original incarnation of this blog, before I started releasing the weekly energy updates. At that time, I used this space for personal updates, behind the scenes information and documenting my creative projects. When I redesigned all my websites a few years ago, I didn’t import the regular “muses” posts from the original site but I had planned to continue with the regular updates once the extra workload settled down and I think that time has finally come! So here comes your first official Maya Muses post for some time… This week I’ve been celebrating my birthday and for me, that begins a time of reflection that generally runs in my life from my birthday until Samhain. During that period I tend to look at my life, look at my routines, look at my plans and consider where I’ve been and where I’m going. It’s the “mulling” part of my year. After Samhain and until the Midwinter Solstice, the “mulling” evolves into a planning phase where I start to pin down the details and organise myself. And finally, I put those plans into effect - not usually on New Year’s Day though - usually everything starts properly when I take down the Christmas tree! But there are some plans for Mayastar I’ll be putting into action soon…the inclusion of some of the “retired” attunement courses in an additional menu for one! A number of courses were archived to make way for new additions and a restructuring of the Advanced Diploma qualifications - it also made it easier to rebuild the website. But now that’s all sorted, I intend to go through the archived courses and choose some to add to an “Archived Course Menu”. The only difference with these archived courses is that they won’t contribute to higher qualifications. I’ll keep you posted here as these options get added to the website. In other updates…in 2024 a number of courses have been added in two new series: The Whispers of the Goddess Series and the Wisdom of the Stars Series. There will be new additions to these series in 2025 but so far, you can find these on the main website as follows: Whispers of the Goddess: Aradia of the Silver Star Whispers of the Goddess: Melusine Dragon Power Awakening Whispers of the Goddess: Sekhmet Solar Crown Sekhem Wisdom of the Stars: Arcturian 12D Healing Chamber Wisdom of the Stars: Mintakan Portal Transmission Wisdom of the Stars: Sirian Light Pyramid Activation These newer channellings are the systems I’ve worked with the most this year…along with my usual “favourites” for my AM and PM spiritual practices and the opening and closing practices I use for temple work when I’m performing spells or sending attunements for people. My main go-to modalities are Violet Flame, Ethereal Crystals, Kundalini Reiki, Avalonian Trilogy, Usui Reiki, Lemurian Indigo Connections, Orb of Life and Sapphire Flame - and these systems are ones that I frequently work with in a ritual context as well as in my personal practice; they also combine very well together. It’s often the case that energy workers that receive attunement to multiple systems will gravitate to particular energies at particular times. For instance, I will tend to work with more nature-based, shamanic and animal energies during the last quarter of the year; and I will tend to work with more divine feminine and solar goddess energies in Spring. So if you work with a number of systems, allow your intuition to guide you to the modalities that resonate most strongly with you at that time. Your energy needs will change throughout the year and you can learn to tap into the power of the seasons by allowing your spiritual practice to align with those seasonal changes. In other news! I have a new tarot deck I’m excited to dive into for path- workings more than for readings! It’s called “Under the Oak” and it’s a stunning deck with a manga-esque style and a lot of Norse and Celtic symbology which really vibes with me. I can already tell this deck is going to be one I reach for, for magickal purposes too. There are only a few decks that I consistently reach for in that way - The Star Tarot, the Ceccoli Tarot and the Spirit Keeper Tarot in particular. But this new deck is definitely going to join those in the temple! The Autumn Equinox is coming up and this morning, a special newsletter went out to the mailing list for a 3-Day Prosperity Ritual Intensive with the Goddess Freya for the Super Harvest Moon Lunar Eclipse and Equinox Portal. A very powerful time for manifesting and prosperity work! This particular intensive includes energy transmissions that are set up during the ritual for participants to receive at their convenience. This allows changes to manifest more quickly than with other types of magickal working and can also exert a healing effect on the energy field while aligning you with the intended outcome of the working. For this ritual intensive, the ideal focus for the spells is prosperity, abundance, health, wealth, happiness and success.
